Bet you won’t see this in the main stream media. A sign of the times? Disrespect for authority once again with a mom and kids who attack a police officer. This is a perfect example of why the cops need to be so careful. The video is chilling because the cop is surrounded and attacked.
FAIRFIELD, Ohio — Four people, including two juveniles, were arrested Tuesday after large fight at the Fairfield Aquatic Center.
The Journal-News reported that one of the juveniles attacked a police officer who responded to the scene on August Boulevard.
“It’s crazy,” Fairfield Police Officer Doug Day said. “It doesn’t need to happen. It was one of those incidents that — we’re fighting with the police because you’re asked to leave a pool? It’s crazy.”

The fight started Tuesday afternoon at the city-run pool after some people there became disorderly, police said.

A group of juveniles was asked to leave because they didn’t have proper swim attire. Police said the children’s mother arrived, refused to make them leave, and then things got violent.

“It was a big group with about eight people there,” Day said.

A city park ranger tried to break up the fight and had to call police.

The fight escalated when the officers arrived, and officials said people resisted arrest.

The Journal-News reported that when an officer tried to arrest the mother of a 12-year-old, the girl fought with the officer.

“He attempted to apprehend her,” Day said. “Another adult jumped in the fight, as well as a few kids. They began to assault our officer.”

Police said the fight got so out of control, the officers had to use pepper spray.
The two adults — Maya Dixon, of Columbus, Ohio, and Krystal Dixon, of Springfield Township, Ohio — were charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

A 15-year-old boy was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, and the 12-year-old girl was charged with assault and resisting arrest.
