The President and First lady hosted a reception for Senators and spouses that could be helpful to mend fences and approach an attempt to be more bipartisan. President Trump has commented that he’s willing to work with Democrats on Obamacare…Yikes!

Trump commented about it during the reception:

‘Hopefully it’ll start being bipartisan. Because everybody really wants the same thing: We want greatness for this country that we love’

President Donald Trump has announced he expects to make a deal on healthcare ‘soon’, even though his first attempt failed just a few days ago.

TRUMP-MELANIA
Trump made the remarks as he was hosting a reception for senators and their spouses at the White House. It attracted both Republicans and Democrats.
Before taking to the stage, he was spotted walking into the ballroom with Melania.

Chuck Schumer was at the event with a smirk on his face…Peach of a guy, huh? He was recently spotted at a swanky Upper East side restaurant yelling at patrons he said voted for Trump. He’s blocking literally everything Trump is trying to do including the vote on Neil Gorsuch.

President Trump said he considers Schumer a friend…He might want to rethink that!

SCHUMER

When he got around to address the bipartisan crowd, he said it is ‘a very good thing’ and predicts a deal on health care will happen ‘very quickly.’
‘I know that we’re all going to make a deal on healthcare. And that’s such an easy one,’ the president claimed – despite recent results seeming to counter his claim.

President Trump knows how to sell a plan like no other. He’s going to make sure this next attempt will happen…BUT Democrats have shown no interest in working with Republicans on the issue as long as the GOP remains determined to repeal Obamacare.

Trump also said he believes there is potential to work with the Democrats on other issues – including infrastructure.
‘Hopefully it’ll start being bipartisan. Because everybody really wants the same thing: We want greatness for this country that we love,’ he said.
