Sometimes public shaming is all you need…

The Gilbert County Police Department in Arizona had no problem publicly shaming one young man for spitting on one of their police cruisers.

Andrew Coronado, the alleged spitter, tweeted the video of himself spitting on the cop car and once the police noticed it on Twitter, they responded using their own hashtag, #americasdumbestcriminals.

“Thanks for the video with the evidence against you,” the department tweeted to Coronado’s since-deleted account.

Police later tweeted that they are not going to be pressing charges against the alleged criminal, but instead determined “public shaming” was punishment enough.
