Secretary of Defense James Mattis was asked in an interview airing Sunday what keeps him up at night…His answer is epic! This man is a great choice by President Trump!

At the end of an interview on “Face The Nation”, Mattis was asked about the variety of threats facing the United States. Interviewer John Dickerson asked Mattis the odd question: “what keeps you awake at night?”

Without hesitation, Mattis replied, “Nothing, I keep other people awake at night.”

Fearless! That’s what you need in a SOD.

Word is that President-elect Donald Trump is close to picking retired General James “Mad Dog” Mattis for the Secretary of Defense. Trump will have to jump through hoops to secure Mattis because it’ll take a special waiver from Congress to allow the retired general  to serve:

Section 903(a) of the National Defense Authorization act requires a seven-year wait period between active duty and serving as Secretary of Defense — a civilian role — for former service members. Mattis would need a special waiver from Congress, since he retired from the military in 2013. Via: FOX6

This is worth it! America will be in great hands with Mattis in charge.
