Although it was already clear beforehand, the U.S. House of Representatives doesn’t represent the American people.

The legislative chamber has been subverted to serve foreign nations and the military-industrial complex.

On Saturday, the House voted to send $95 billion to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan.

Much of that will simply fund the war machine.

Per Zero Hedge:

The House on Saturday passed a set of foreign aid bills that would send $61 billion to Ukraine, $26 billion to Israel, and $8 billion to the Indo-Pacific region.

In total, the foreign assistance package totals $95 billion – which only passed after Speaker Mike Johnson cut a deal with Democrats in order to force it through by a vote of 311 to 112.

The Senate is expected to pass the package, which was negotiated in conjunction with the White House, marking a victory against conservative lawmakers who insisted on protecting the US border before sending money abroad to protect those of other countries.

The purse remains empty when it comes to the United States border.

A significant number of public servants waived Ukrainian flags on the House floor after the bill’s passage.

“Ukrainian flags fly in the chamber of the UNITED STATES House of Representatives as they vote to send more of your hard-earned money to a corrupt foreign regime. And just like that they shout ‘UKRAINE! UKRAINE!’ while happily working to secure Ukraine’s borders, not ours,” Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said.

WATCH:

“Johnson is sharing the GOP Speakership with Democrats. To bring Ukraine spending up for a vote, he made a deal with Democrats on the procedural vote. Then he passed the bill today with every Democrat voting YEA and a majority of Republicans voting NAY,” Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) said.

“This is the U.S. House of Representatives under the direction of Speaker Mike Johnson. Democrats are celebrating his total capitulation with no victory for securing our border,” Massie added.

While some representatives waived the Ukrainian flag, Daniel McAdams, the director of the Ron Paul Institute, pointed out that House Speaker Mike Johnson wears two flags.

“Here are the 139 Republicans who just voted against my amendment to strip every penny of your tax dollars from Mike Johnson’s $61 BILLION Ukraine war spending bill,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) commented.

From the Associated Press:

The House swiftly approved $95 billion in foreign aid for Ukraine, Israel and other U.S. allies in a rare Saturday session as Democrats and Republicans banded together after months of hard-right resistance over renewed American support for repelling Russia’s invasion.

With an overwhelming vote, the $61 billion in aid for Ukraine passed in a matter of minutes, a strong showing as American lawmakers race to deliver a fresh round of U.S. support to the war-torn ally. Many Democrats cheered on the House floor and waved blue-and-yellow flags of Ukraine.

Aid to Israel and the other allies also won approval by healthy margins, as did a measure to clamp down on the popular platform TikTok, with unique coalitions forming to push the separate bills forward. The whole package will go to the Senate, which could pass it as soon as Tuesday. President Joe Biden has promised to sign it immediately.

“We did our work here, and I think history will judge it well,” said a weary Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., who risked his own job to marshal the package to passage.
