President Trump wants to honor our military with a parade. Even though this sent the left into a tailspin, it looks like it will happen…but not until 2019:
The Department of Defense released a statement saying they’ve postponed the military parade that had been planned for November of this year:
The Associated Press and CNBC reported an estimated cost of the parade from an “anonymous source” but Defense Secretary Jim Mattis put that to bed with this comment: “You look like an idiot” A classic response from “Mad Dog” Mattis!
We checked the AP article about canceling the parade and they still have the fake news estimate within the article!
Eric Trump tweeted out about the Reuters photo that’s obviously trying to make President Trump out to look like he’s giving the Nazi salute…Shame on Reuters!

What do you think about a military parade? We’d like to know.
President Trump tweeted out that he cancelled the military parade because of inflated costs but did not give a figure. It sounds like some “anonymous source” pulled a figure out of the rumor mill in D.C.:
The local politicians who run Washington, D.C. (poorly) know a windfall when they see it. When asked to give us a price for holding a great celebratory military parade, they wanted a number so ridiculously high that I cancelled it. Never let someone hold you up! I will instead…

The parade’s cost, whatever that will be, will be brought in line after President called out local D.C. politicians he said who saw a “windfall” and bloated the budget.
President Trump continued his tweet:
….attend the big parade already scheduled at Andrews Air Force Base on a different date, & go to the Paris parade, celebrating the end of the War, on November 11th. Maybe we will do something next year in D.C. when the cost comes WAY DOWN. Now we can buy some more jet fighters!

Defense Secretary Mattis firmly denied the budget had skyrocketed to the $92 million reported by the media but whatever it was, President Trump felt it was too high.
President Trump thought it would be a great idea to have a military parade after he attended the Bastille Day Parade in France.
