A new policy put in place by the Las Vegas Police Department helped officers catch the suspect who shot at them “ambush style”. The police department started pairing officers up due to the war on cops all over America. Every police department should take notes and do the same thing.

NEVADA — According to a statement by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Police responded to an Officer-Involved shooting in the area of Tropicana and Nellis Sunday.

An officer was struck by gunfire, police confirmed. The Officer is expected to survive, suffered gunshot wound to the hand. A suspect is in custody.

Police in Vegas had recently started pairing Officers together due to the ongoing ‘anti-police’ movement.

The two Officers were in a marked patrol car and were headed to the ’99 Cents Store’ to investigate a disturbance call when they stopped at a traffic signal.

That’s when the suspect approached, unprovoked, and opened fire on the Officers.

At least three rounds were fired at the officers “ambush-style,” police said.
