The American flag should never be banned!

Old Glory is flying once again at a Colorado high school. Leaders at Monument High School in Fruita, Colorado had banned students from waving flags on campus. They said the flags could cause unwanted distractions.

The school’s principal said that some of the flags being displayed by students were Confederate flags. He said some students considered that flag to be inappropriate and offensive.

But after receiving a number of complaints about the policy, the school has reversed its decision. Senior students are once again allowed to display flags. School leaders are now asking students to display “appropriate” flags and wave them respectfully.
