Utah Senator Mitt Romney tried his best to take Jeff Flake’s place and bash President Trump (see below) after the Mueller Report came out. Romney has taken to trying to be the lapdog of the Democrats. He’ll do anything to get their approval. He’s no team player and he certainly isn’t a fighter like President Trump.

In classic Trump style, the comeback was a beauty. The president ripped Romney with a great comment and a video:

“If Mitt Romney spent the same energy fighting Barack Obama as he does fighting Donald Trump, he could have won the race (maybe)!

OUR PREVIOUS REPORT ON ROMNEY BASHING PRESIDENT TRUMP:

Did sore loser Mitt ever think Americans are sick of his obsession with trashing our President?

Mitt Romney had a chance to defeat Barack Obama in his second term, as our nation’s most divisive President. The former Massachusetts governor wiped the floor with him in the first debate—it wasn’t even a contest. But something happened after that first debate, that left his supporters scratching their heads. Just when Romney started to look like he had a chance to save America from another four years of divisive rhetoric and destructive policies, Romney backed away from the fight. The guy who everyone believed was ready to throw down with Obama in the second and third televised debates, instead, laid down and played dead. His grassroots supporters were stunned, GOP supporters began to lose faith that they’d ever win another presidential race.

Fast forward to 2016. Enter Donald J. Trump. The inexperienced outsider, the no-holds-barred, take no prisoners GOP candidate for President, who removed every one of his GOP opponents with surgical precision, including the ones the GOP establishment believed would become their next President.

RINO Trio…former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney, Sen John McCain (AZ) and Sen. Jeff Flake (AZ)

Only months before the general election, sore loser Mitt Romney emerged to trash the GOP candidate for President, Donald J. Trump and called for a brokered convention, as a way to knock Trump out of the race.

Fox News’ Judge Jeanine Piro destroyed Mitt over his outrageous attacks on the candidate GOP voters chose to be their next presidential candidate. In her opening statement, Piro accused Romney and his cronies of waking a sleeping giant by reminding everyone who the political elite are, and why we need to defeat the D.C. Swamp.

Yesterday, the mainstream media and Democrat Party leaders spent the day twisting the facts about the Mueller report released by AG Barr. Before releasing the Mueller report to the public, Barr made it clear in his statement to the press, that the report found Trump innocent of any collusion with Russia. He also made clear, that he believed Trump did not obstruct the Mueller investigation. Except for CNN, MSNBC, the New York Times, the Washington Post and RINO’s like Mitt Romney, most people who read the report, were willing to concede that Barr’s assessment of the Mueller report was fairly accurate.

The now- Senator Mitt Romney (UT), who just can’t seem to get over Trump winning the 2016 presidential race (in spite of his best efforts to destroy him), took to Twitter to trash President Trump over the findings in the Mueller report that was written by mostly Hillary supporters on Mueller’s special counsel team.

Romney wrote:

“I have now read the redacted Mueller report and offer my personal opinion,” Romney said with a screenshot of his ridiculous statement.

“[I] am sickened at the extent and pervasiveness of dishonesty and misdirection by individuals in the highest office of the land, including the President,” Romney stated. “I am also appalled that, among other things, fellow citizens working in a campaign for president welcomed help from Russia — including information that had been legally obtained; that none of them acted to inform American law enforcement; and that the campaign chairman was actively promoting Russian interest in Ukraine.”

Romney finished his statement by saying, “Reading the report is a sobering revelation of how far we have strayed from the aspirations and principles of the founders.”

Here is his tweet:

It’s worth pointing out the political opinions of those working on Mueller’s special counsel team.

Politifact shared a list of special counsel staffers on Mueller’s team, as a way to prove President Trump was incorrect when he claimed all of Mueller’s special counsel team members were supporters of Hillary Clinton. Some of them were only Obama or Democrat Party supporters. One of them had no apparent political bent.

Aaron Zebley, Mueller’s former FBI chief of staff, previously served as a senior counselor in the National Security Division, as a special agent in the FBI’s counterterrorism division, and as assistant U.S. attorney in Alexandria, Va. Following his various stints at the FBI, Zebley worked at WilmerHale, the same law firm as Mueller. There, he once represented Clinton aide Justin Cooper. FEC filings showed that Zebley did not contribute to any political campaigns.

James Quarles, a former Watergate assistant special prosecutor, also worked at WilmerHale. He did not represent Clinton or any of her aides. He did, however, contribute $2,700 to Hillary for America, Clinton’s PAC, on Oct. 7, 2016. He also contributed $15,550 to Democratic congressional candidates since 2002; $2,000 to Democratic presidential candidates since 1999; $2,000 to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee; and $1,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in 2009. He is the only staffer who also contributed to a Republican congressional candidate. He gave $2,500 to U.S. Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, in 2015.

Michael Dreeben was the deputy solicitor general for the Justice Department, focusing on criminal matters before the Supreme Court and federal appellate courts. While a Michael W. Dreeben shows up in FEC files as having donated $1,000 to Hillary for America on June 27, 2006, this is a different Dreeben in Chicago. The deputy solicitor general has made no campaign contributions.

Andrew Weissmann, the chief of the Justice Department’s criminal division fraud section, has also worked as the FBI general counsel, deputy and then director of the Enron task force, and an assistant U.S. attorney in New York. While he made no contributions to Clinton’s PAC, he gave a total of $2,350 to the Obama Victory fund in 2008.

Jeannie Rhee was a deputy assistant attorney general in the Office of Legal Counsel and an assistant U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, prosecuting fraud and public corruption cases. She represented the Clinton Foundation for WilmerHale before a conservative legal activist who brought forth a racketeering lawsuit in June 2015. She also contributed a total of $5,400 to Clinton’s PAC in 2015 and 2016.

Lisa Page served in the FBI’s general counsel office and as a trial attorney in the Justice Department’s criminal division’s organized crime and gang section. She made no campaign contributions.*

*Page is the pro-Hillary, anti-Trump FBI lawyer caught texting about her disdain for Donald Trump and disappointment over Hillary’s 2016 election loss.

Elizabeth Prelogar is a former Fulbright scholar in Russia who served as an appellate attorney on detail for the Office of the Solicitor General and as an attorney at Hogan Lovells. She contributed $250 to Hillary for America in 2016 and $250 to the Obama Victory Fund in 2012.

Adam Jed, an appellate attorney on detail from the Justice Department’s civil division, made no campaign contributions.
