Because using guns in a video about fighting crime is offensive, but swinging naked on a wrecking ball for no particular reason other than to sell ‘skank’ is perfectly acceptable?
Miley Cyrus wants to know one thing – why is getting naked to support your music worse than having a video clip filmed with guns?
The 22-year-old seems to be keen on becoming Taylor Swift’s latest inspiration for comeback tracks in a new interview with Marie Claire.
The controversial singer challenged why she was seen as a bad role model and Taylor was not.
Here is Taylor’s latest video, you be the judge:
Miley told the magazine: ‘I don’t get the violence revenge thing. That’s supposed to be a good example?
‘And I’m a bad role model because I’m running around with my titties out?
‘I’m not sure how titties are worse than guns.’
Taylor’s star studded clip shows the star battling it out with pal Selena Gomez and each have a gun-toting girl gang of superheroes behind them.
Bad Blood is rumored to be about the pop star’s fallout with Katy Perry so perhaps Miley can now expect a similar song to be written about her.
The Can’t Stop singer did not just take aim at Taylor though, she also fired off a few shots at what she says is the sexist approach to what she sings and talks about.
‘There is so much sexism, ageism, you name it. Kendrick Lamar sings about LSD and he’s cool. I do it and I’m a druggie whore.’
