After Democrats failed to pass a resolution that directly addressed multiple anti-Semitic tweets by Muslim Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN),  President Donald Trump blasted the Democrat lawmakers, calling them “anti-Israel” and “anti-Jewish.”

Yahoo News – The remarks by the Republican leader follow days of tense debates in Congress addressing sensitive questions about national allegiance, age-old discriminatory tropes aimed at Jews, and accusations of show votes that failed to call out a member for controversial comments.

“I thought yesterday’s vote by the House was disgraceful,” Trump told reporters at the White House.

The resolution was originally intended to deliver a direct rebuke of anti-Semitism following controversial comments by a Muslim Democratic congresswoman, Ilhan Omar, that were deemed anti-Semitic and offensive by many colleagues.

But after blowback from progressives, it was revised to more broadly condemn discrimination against Muslims and other minorities as well. Trump seized on the shift, and the tensions among Democrats.

“The Democrats have become an anti-Israel party and anti-Jewish party,” he said.

Democrat activist Jim Acosta, who also happens to be on CNN’s payroll, went after President Trump today, via his press secretary, Sarah Sanders. Instead of asking a question, the White House correspondent for #FakeNewsCNN, grandstanded on behalf of the Democrat Party in defense of the Democrat anti-Semitic lawmaker, Rep. Ilhan Omar. Acosta, who has brought the level of “reporting” into the gutter, attempted to badger Sarah Sanders about President Trump and his rhetoric surrounding his views on Democrats being anti-Jew and anti-Israel

Sarah Sanders paused before she repsonded to him, and absolutely destroyed him with her response.

“Look, I think that the real shame in all of this is that Democrats are perfectly capable of coming together and agreeing on the fact that they’re comfortable ripping babies straight from a mother’s womb or killing a baby after birth, but they have a hard time condemning the type of comments from Congresswoman Omar. I think that is a great shame. The president has been clear on what his position is. Certainly what his support is for the people and community of Israel.”

After Acosta picked his jaw up off the floor, he attempted to equate President Trump to a Nazi sympathizer. The unhinged, racist April Ryan of BBC followed up by suggesting that Acosta correctly identified President Trump as a Nazi. Watch:

It was almost as if the media coordinated their talking points before the press conference. But of course, they would never do that—would they?
