“Hyper-Partisan Democrats are About to Drag Our Great Country Down into the Gutter of Rancor and Vitriol the Likes of Which has Never Been Seen in Our Nation’s History.”

In a fiery 9-minute response to Democrat’s (and RINO establishment republicans) plan to impeach the now-private-citizen Donald Trump, Kentucky Senator, Rand Paul unloaded on the intentional travesty of it all.  He did not just focus on how absurd the trial would be in the senate, or the dramatic and unconstitutional legal implications.  He also focused on how it is being designed specifically to tear apart America and promote duplicitous hypocritical doublespeak.

“This sham of an impeachment will ostensibly ask whether the president incited the reprehensible behavior and violence of January 6th when he said “I know everyone here will soon march to the capitol to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”  Peacefully and Patriotically, hardly words of violence.”

Senator paul also explained the repercussions of the leftist violence over the past year, in which “more than 700 police officers were injured” and dozens of  murders occurred, including David Dorn, a retired police officer.

Fundamentally, though, Paul rested his argument on the Constitution:

Impeachment procedures of a private citizen are “unconstitutional.  It is illegal,” he said.

Before you go, here are some of the duplicitous fork-tongued quotes that Senator Paul cites in his speech, as well as one or two more.  We could have found countless additional quotes, but there are only so many hours in a day.

Bernie Sanders once said under President Trump’s healthcare plan, you will “literally die!”

A deranged Bernie Sanders supporter once screamed “This is for healthcare!” as he opened fire at a congressional baseball game and shot Steve Scalise.

Nancy Pelosi once said “I just don’t even know why there aren’t uprisings all over the country, and maybe there will be when people realize that this is a policy that they defend,” Pelosi said during a press conference. “It’s a horrible thing, and I don’t see any prospect for legislation here.”

Prominent progressive ‘squad’ member Ayanna Pressley insisted that “There needs to be unrest in the streets.”

New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio encouraged anti-Trump rioters rioters to “fight back.”
