By Kaley | May 6, 2026

A 12-year-old girl in Florida is facing felony charges after she allegedly sent a message to her teacher threatening to kill them and “shoot up” the elementary school.

The Volusia Sheriff’s Office cuffed her and brought her down to the police station today.

Footage of her arrest is going viral online:

Click Orlando provided the full text of the message that this young student allegedly sent to her teacher:

An arrest affidavit obtained by News 6 reveals that the threat read as follows:

“Hi ms nghdiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Ive also been sexuaely asalting and talking innapropietly to many of my friends that are girls like bella, jassy, and more and im not gonna stop. It’s the end of the year do whatever u want to me hoes I don’t care nd neither do myparents.

Oh yeah and last day im shooting up the school, revolver style.

Get me hoes (expletive) yall all yall are ded”

Authorities say that this girl used her ex-boyfriend’s email account to send horrible messages.

(Yes, you read that right. Apparently, 12-year-olds are both dating and threatening to commit school shootings these days.)

Fox News reported further:

The girl is charged with making written or electronic threats to kill and unlawful use of a two-way communications device, both felonies, according to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.

Over the weekend, detectives received a report about an explicit written threat sent to a teacher at Louise S. McInnis Elementary School.

In addition to threatening the teacher, the sender said they were going to “shoot up” the school on the last day of class, according to the sheriff’s office.

While the message was sent from a student account belonging to a 12-year-old boy, detectives determined it was sent by his ex-girlfriend, who had his login information, officials said.

The video of the girl being perp-walked is making waves on social media.

Many people believe police were justified, despite the girl’s young age:

But, some people believe law enforcement is being too harsh:

What is your position on this?
