On May 22, a 16-year-old girl was entering the Urban Juice Bar and Grill in Brooklyn around 6 p.m. when a man snuck up behind her, raised a black knife, casually stabbed her in the shoulder, then turned and strolled away.
In an interview with the New York Post, the teen reported feeling a “sharp pain” when the stranger stabbed her but hadn’t realized what had happened.
“I didn’t feel like I got stabbed or anything, so I just went into the store, and two men came in and told me that I had been stabbed. They said they saw him do it,” said the teen – whose name has been withheld for privacy purposes. “They walked me home, and I told my mom what happened. I think it was just random. He didn’t know me.”
