The Trump-Vance campaign has filed a Federal Election Commission (FEC) complaint against the Harris-Walz campaign and the Labour Party of the United Kingdom for “illegal foreign campaign contributions and interference in our elections.”

“In two weeks, Americans will once again reject the oppression of big government that we rejected in 1776. The flailing Harris-Walz campaign is seeking foreign influence to boost its radical message – because they know they can’t win the American people. President Trump will return strength to the White House and put America, and our people, first. The Harris campaign’s acceptance and use of this illegal foreign assistance is just another feeble attempt in a long line of anti-American election interference,” Trump-Vance campaign co-manager Susie Wiles stated.

“The far-left Labour Party has inspired Kamala’s dangerously liberal policies and rhetoric. In recent weeks, they have recruited and sent party members to campaign for Kamala in critical battleground states, attempting to influence our election,” a statement from the Trump-Vance campaign read.

“President Trump’s message of freedom, prosperity, and America First is resonating with the American people, because that’s what our Founders intended,” it added.

The complaint follows reports of the U.K. Labour Party sending current and former staffers to the United States to campaign for Kamala Harris.

Election Interference? British Labour Party Staffers Reportedly To Campaign For Kamala Harris In Battleground States

From The Hill:

The group offered to send 100 current and former Labour Party staff to battleground states such as Pennsylvania and North Carolina to campaign for Harris, the complaint states.

It also cites a LinkedIn post from Sofia Patel, Labour’s head of operations, in which she said she would sort out the volunteers’ housing.

The Labour Party declined to comment, and it’s unclear whether it has been in touch with the Harris-Walz campaign about its plans.

Trump currently has a 0.2 percentage point lead in Pennsylvania and a 0.6 percentage point lead in North Carolina, according to the latest Decision Desk HQ/The Hill polling average. Both will be crucial to determining the November election.

According to reports, Patel said in the alleged LinkedIn post that staffers would travel to North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

“I have nearly 100 Labour Party staff (current and former) going to the US in the next few weeks heading to North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Virginia. I have 10 spots available for anyone available to head to the battleground state of North Carolina – we will sort your housing,” the alleged LinkedIn post read.

“Hello @UKLabour. You are breaking @FEC laws. Foreign nationals are not allowed to be involved in anyway in U.S. elections. Please go back to the UK and fix your own mass immigration problems that are ruining your country. See next post for FEC laws,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said.

POLITICO reports:

It filed a legal complaint to the Federal Electoral Commission alleging that a call-out for activists on LinkedIn from Labour aide Sofia Patel suggests Labour is funding its troops to support the Democrats. "Those searching for foreign interference in our elections need to look no further than Ms. Patel’s LinkedIn post," said the letter from Trump campaign lawyer Gary Lawkowski. "The interference is occurring in plain sight."

Lawkowski demanded the FEC launch an investigation.

Labour insists the activists are paying for their own travel and crashing on the floors of fellow Democrat activists, therefore keeping withing the FEC spending rules for overseas volunteers. A Trump-prompted probe could double check their workings.
