DC News Now provided further details:
Court records noted that two threats took place days before the Presidential Inauguration, which consisted of Jason leaving a voicemail on Jan. 8 stating that Greene, her staff and her family would not be alive to “see the inaugural.”
Jason left an additional threatening voicemail on Jan. 21, where he said Greene and her staff, “were as good as dead,” and told her to “make your last will ready, because we are coming after you, and the only thing you’re going to hear is bang…I’m yearning to hear you cry for your last breath.”
According to the USAO, an investigation found that Jason had made the eight calls while working inside the VOA headquarters in D.C.
“Let this be a warning for any radical who makes political threats. I hope this sicko enjoys five years in federal prison,” Senior Advisor to the United States Agency for Global Media Kari Lake said.

WUSA9 shared further:
Jason now faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison on the charge of interstate communications with a threat to kidnap or injure and two years for anonymous telecommunications harassment.
His sentencing is scheduled for June 18, 2026.
Among the most recognizable names of the Republican caucus, Greene reported that death threats against her have been recurring even after Jason’s arrest. The Georgia congresswoman, once one of the most outspoken stalwarts and supporters of Trump, said she saw a rise in death threats after she opposed her party and the president’s policies during the government shutdown in October and November.
