31-year-old CJ Harris, an American Idol finalist, was a crowd favorite in the 2014 season of the musical talent show. Harris made it to the top six of the competition and was paired up with Darius Rucker for a duet on the show. The duo formed a friendship after the conclusion of the American Idol season where Rucker was his mentor

On Sunday, the talented singer, Curtis “CJ” Harris, died in an ambulance on the way to a local hospital in his hometown of Jasper, Alabama, after suffering a heart attack.

Daily Mail reports – Harris auditioned for The X-Factor and The Voice but was not successful, so he turned his attention to American Idol, where he made a big impression on the 13th season.

He auditioned first in Tuscaloosa and then in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 2014.

Harris impressed judges with his rendition of the Allman Brothers Band’s Soulshine.

Judge Keith Urban told CJ, ‘You sing ’cause you have to sing, not ’cause you want to sing. And I mean that in the deepest way. And that’s why it’s so believable and real.’

My heart is heavy to hear of the passing of fellow American Idol and friend CJ Harris. I’m completely shocked. Your talent and smile will be missed, and the world is definitely a darker and eerily quieter place without you in it. I’ll miss your random phone calls asking for life advice and talking about the music world. When you go through something like Idol together, it brings everyone involved together like a big, weird, dysfunctional family. I’m grateful that our paths crossed and that I can say you were (and always will be) a part of mine. There are a lot of things I realize I will never understand — you leaving us so soon is one of those things. Rest easy, friend. See you on the other side.

Nothing to see here, just another young entertainer dying suddenly after suffering a heart attack/incident. Only last week, 54-year-old Lisa Marie Presley died unexpectedly of a heart attack.

Less than one year ago, a perfectly healthy 25-year-old, Haley Bieber, suffered a stroke as a result of a blood clot in her brain. Only three months later, her husband, the healthy 28-year-old singer Justin Beiber announced that half of his face was paralyzed after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt. Ramsay Hunt syndrome is a rare disorder caused by the chickenpox virus that causes paralysis in the face.

Researchers in Hong Kong found a link between Ramsay Hunt syndrome and the Covid-19 vaccine.  The researchers did a case study of a 37-year-old healthy man who was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome just two days after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine.
