All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star Pac, whose real name was Benjamin Satterley, has died.
He was 40.
“All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac. A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability,” AEW announced Sunday night.
“Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans,” it added.

Satterley had his final match at the All Out pay-per-view against AEW national champion Andrade in Chicago on Saturday night.
No cause of death was given.

Satterley, a perfect combination of freakish athleticism and strength, also performed in WWE as Neville from 2012-18. He was featured for his high-flying acumen as “The Man That Gravity Forgot,” known for his signature Black Arrow corkscrew-senton splash.
He joined AEW in 2019 and went by the moniker “The B**tard” following about a year on the indies after his WWE release. Satterley was initially part of the Death Triangle faction with Rey Fenix and Penta before finding his way to the Death Riders.
He wrestled a more grinding and physical style in AEW, often using his Brutalizer front-facelock submission to beat opponents. The British star was the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion and a two-time AEW Trios champion.
In WWE, he was a two-time WWE Cruiserweight champion, NXT champion and a two-time NXT Tag Team champion.

Will Ospreay, a fellow Brit, said: “The greatest export from our country. Also the greatest human being. Honoured to have shared the ring with you so many times. You truly are such a hero to myself and many others.”
Wrestling legend Paul Heyman added: “What a tremendous talent and even finer human being. My most profound condolences to all who knew him. A truly terrible loss!”
