The 7-year-old twin boy at the center of an ugly custody battle, between his mother, a pediatrician, who claimed he wanted to transition to a girl, and his father, who demanded that she was making it up, attended kindergarten today, as a boy.

Jeffrey Younger, the father of 7-year-old James, was blocked by a Texas judge after he refused to cooperate with the child’s mother, Dr. Anne Georgulas, who was demanding that her son be allowed to transition to a girl. She was also planning to put her son on experimental drugs to block his male hormones.

Dr. Georgulas, who told her son his name is “Luna,” claimed James identified as a girl, and wanted to be called Luna, after he once asked her for a girl’s toy at McDonald’s and because he liked to watch the movie “Frozen.” James’ father claimed that his mother dressed him up in dresses when he was 3-years-old.

Life Site News reports – On October 24, Judge Kim Cooks awarded Dr. Georgulas and Mr. Younger joint managing conservatorship and joint decision making of James and Jude. The new ruling increased Mr. Younger’s time with his boys and allowed him to have his boys on school nights. Dr. Georgulas will not be able to subject James to medical “transitioning” without Mr. Younger’s consent, although a court-appointed individual will be able to make decisions if the parents cannot come to an agreement.

As part of the ruling, James Younger was allowed to decide which name he wanted to be called and how he wanted to present himself.

James decided to attend school as a boy and be called by “James,” his given name.

James is pictured on the right, next to his twin brother. The photo is from the Save James Facebook page, which is operated by friends and family of his father, Jeffrey Younger.

According to a Facebook post from the Save James page – which is now run by friends of the family, as Mr. Younger is under a gag order – James chose to wear boy clothes to school while he was staying with his father. Mr. Younger argued in court that James does not want to be a girl, citing James’ choice to wear boy clothes and use his legal name, James, when with Mr. Younger. Mr. Younger also testified to an incident when James threw away the dresses James had at Mr. Younger’s home in the middle of the night.

Prior to the judge’s ruling, James had always been with his mother, who calls him “Luna,” when attending school.

Moving forward, James will be allowed to pick what name he wants to be called at school.

PJ Media reports – Regardless of Georgulas’ motivations, the intended “treatments” for her son would do him harm. The boy’s father claims the mother sent him an email showing her intention to have the boy’s genitals cut off. The rush toward chemical castration may be less gruesome but it is still terrifying.

Studies have shown that between 62 and 98 percent of children who express a gender identity opposite their biological sex will reject that transgender identity if they are allowed to develop naturally. Many cases of gender dysphoria can be traced to childhood trauma. Walt Heyer, a man who identified as a woman for eight years and underwent sex reassignment surgery, explained that his gender dysphoria stemmed from childhood trauma from sexual abuse and being dressed as a girl by his grandmother when he was four years old.
