In a pro-Bernie Sanders video, 94-year-old Hollywood actor, Dick Van Dyke assures everyone that he still has all of his “marbles,”  in fact, he claims he could run for office if he wanted to.

The Mary Poppins actor, who hasn’t been heard from in several decades is putting himself out there with a new video, where he defends the 78-year-old Socialist running under the Democrat Party banner.

In the video promoting Sanders, a perplexed Van Dyke ponders why members of his generation won’t get behind the Socialist candidate, saying, “I can’t understand, why according to the polls, he’s having a problem with older citizens,” adding, “It just doesn’t make sense to me that he’s not resonating with my generation.” It’s strange that Van Dyke, who is part of America’s “Greatest Generation,” (the generation who lost an estimated 419,000 lives in their fight against Hitler’s Nazi Germany -NAZI stands for National Socialist German Workers‘ Party), can’t figure out why they wouldn’t want to support a candidate who wants to put the government in charge of literally every aspect of their lives.

Someone should probably inform the iconic actor, who has a reported net worth of $50 million, that Bernie has big plans for his inheritance after he’s gone, and most of it won’t be going to family members if he has anything to say about it.

Sanders’ proposed estate tax rates are as follows:

  • $3.5 million to $10 million: 45 percent tax
  • $10 million to $50 million: 50 percent tax
  • $50 million to $1 billion: 55 percent tax
  • more than $1 billion: 77 percent tax

Here’s the ad Dick Van Dyke made for the Bernie Sanders campaign:

Van Dyke appeared at a Bernie rally last night that featured hip hop group “Public Enemy,” minus their frontman, Flavor Flav, who was fired over not agreeing to allow Bernie Sanders to gain the endorsement of the entire group, calling Sanders’ campaign, a “fake revolution.”

For some strange reason, college-age kids who love the idea of having someone else pay for their tuition, have a strange affinity for old white guys. In a video taken at the Bernie rally last night in Los Angeles, the crowd can be heard chanting, “We want Dick!”

Is Dick Van Dyke the only person in America who doesn’t understand why members of America’s “Greatest Generation” don’t support a Socialist for President of the United States?
