Sometimes, a missed word or misspelling is just a harmless mistake.
In other cases, however, some might think they see someone’s true thoughts hiding within a typographical error.
And given the controversy surrounding Alex Soros and his family’s support of far-left causes, it’s no wonder critics came calling after he posted what some called a “Freudian slip” on the nation’s 250th anniversary.
According to the Post Millennial:
In a post commemorating the nation’s 250th Independence Day, Soros shared photos of himself and his wife, Huma Abedin, alongside the caption: “Happy 250th Birthday America! I’ll never loving it.”
ADVERTISEMENTThe apparent typo omitted the word “stop,” prompting critics on social media to accuse the error of being a Freudian slip and to reveal Soros’ actual beliefs on the country. Soros soon deleted the post and reuploaded it with the same photos and corrected caption that read: “Happy 250th Birthday America! I’ll never stop loving it.”
Alex Soros has increasingly taken on a larger role within the Soros family’s political network and is the heir to his father’s philanthropic and political organizations. Since assuming leadership of the Open Society Foundations, he has become a prominent Democratic fundraiser and donor.
The post he replaced it with was soon inundated with mockery and derision:

The couple married in Water Mill, N.Y., at a Soros family estate on Saturday, according to the New York Times, which reported the swank Hamptons wedding drew private jets, fleets of black SUVs “and Clinton aides galore in a rare concentration of wealth and power.”
Democrat heavyweights including Bill and Hillary Clinton, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Harris – as well as her husband Doug Emhoff – and Pelosi attended the wedding, the New York Times reported. Soros, 39, is the chairman of the Open Society Foundations, which is a massive $25 billion nonprofit founded by George Soros, 94, and helps bankroll left-wing causes and politicians across the country. Abedin, 48, is the former longtime aide to Hillary Clinton and often called the former secretary of state’s “second daughter.” Abedin was previously married to disgraced former New York Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner.
