When Ilhan Omar isn’t attacking President Trump, Israel, and fellow Republican lawmakers, she’s defending herself against another controversy. Does Omar even have time to represent the Americans who elected her in her failing district?
On June 6, 2019, A Minnesota report found that Ilhan Omar committed six campaign finance violations.
The more revealing aspect of the report isn’t about the campaign finance violations but the fact that she was married to her brother in order to commit immigration fraud.
The report states that Ilhan Omar and Ahmed Hirsi filed joint tax returns in 2014 and 2015. Yet they were not married. Omar was married to her brother, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, from 2009-2017. According to both federal and MN law, this is illegal.
After the report was made public, Rebel Media’s Keean Bexte caught up with Omar in D.C., where he asked her about the marriage to her brother. Omar refused to answer his question on camera.
Watch:
On July 31, 2019, a grainy video of Rep. Ilhan Omar (S-MN) leaving an out of the way restaurant in Playa Del Rey with a mystery man was released by a Jewish man who lives in CA. The unnamed person who took the video claims he was upset by Omar’s comments at a CAIR (Council For American-Islamic Relations) event the day before. The Somalian refugee turned U.S Congresswoman told the room full of Muslims at the CAIR event that they should be tired of being mistreated in America and should fight back. When recalling the events of 9-11, Rep. Ilhan Omar referred to the Islamic terrorists responsible for the worst terror attack on American soil as, “some people did something.” She has also been criticized for her anti-Semitic remarks.
One week before the video was released, The Daily Mail reported that Rep. Ilhan Omar and Ahmed Hirsi, the father of her three children had split up and were heading for another divorce.
The 12-second video, obtained exclusively by DailyMailTV, shows Omar and her companion leaving a romantic, out-of-the-way Italian restaurant in California the day after she had made controversial remarks blaming 9/11 on ‘someone doing something.’
Yesterday, we reported about a D.C. doctor who accused Ilhan Omar of having an affair with her husband.
Dr. Beth Mynett says her husband, Tim Mynett, told her a few months ago that he was having an affair with Omar.
Documents filed in DC Superior Court and obtained by the New York Post revealed that Mr. Mynett was in a relationship with Omar:
“The parties physically separated on or about April 7, 2019, when Defendant told Plaintiff that he was romantically involved with and in love with another woman, Ilhan Omar.”
“Defendant met Rep. Omar while working for her. Although devastated by the betrayal and deceit that preceded his abrupt declaration, Plaintiff told Defendant that she ‘loved him, and was willing to fight for the marriage.’
Sara Carter reports that Rep. Ilhan Omar’s campaign has paid Tim Mynett’s E. Street group around $230,000 for fundraising consulting, digital communications, Internet advertising and travel expenses since 2018, according to records.
Here is a list of the fees paid to Omar’s alleged lover by her campaign, once again, calling into question the improper use of Omar’s campaign funds.
The New York Post shared this video of Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN), telling Esme Murphy that the alllegations about her having an affair with Tim Mynett, the married father of a 13-year-old son, are not true.
It’s not the first time Omar has been forced to defend herself. She was also forced to respond for anti-Semitic tweets that surfaced, including the one below, where Omar makes a stunning statement about U.S. ally, Israel:
“Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.”
Only one month after her inauguration as a U.S. Congresswoman, Omar tweeted, “It’s all about th Benjamins baby,” a common slur by anti-Semites against Jews.
When asked by KARE 11 if she regreeted her anti-Semitic remarks, Omar responded, “Regret is a strange word” :
In what can only be explained as an utterly bizarre interview…the newly anointed Democrat US Rep. from Minnesota, Ilhan Omar, appeared on CNN to discuss some of her rather disturbing behavior on Twitter.
It’s very rare that we give CNN credit for anything, but CNN hosts Poppy Harlow and Jim Sciutto deserve credit for their hard-hitting interview with the sitting Somali-Muslim congresswoman, Ilhan Omar (D-MN).
During the interview, CNN hosts, Jim Sciutto and Poppy Harlow didn’t hold back any of the serious questions that actual journalist should be asking of the radical anti-Israel Congresswoman.
Things really got ugly for Omar when CNN host Jim Sciutto asked Omar about a tweet from yesterday that went viral about Republican Senator Lindsey Graham.
Watch, as Omar squirms, as she tries to defend her ugly suggestion that Republican lawmaker Lindsey Graham is a closet gay, and has somehow been compromised because of his sexuality.
Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN) defends pushing conspiracy theories about Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), which many considered homophobic, "I'm pretty sure there's something happening with him…he is somehow compromised"
Omar then admits that she believes her opinion is evidence pic.twitter.com/aU6YLXIPYk
