A pilot who was flying American Airlines flight 755 from Paris to Philadelphia on November 29th reportedly had a seizure aboard the aircraft.

“The First Officer who was the flying pilot on American Airlines flight 755 from Paris to Philadelphia on November 29th, had a seizure that stiffened his legs and back, jamming his feet under the rudder pedals on short final approach,” Dr. Kevin Stillwagon, a retired chiropractor and airline captain, wrote on his substack.

“The captain immediately took over flying duties and there was no loss of aircraft control. The relief pilot who was required to be on the flight deck during landing was able to remove the unconscious pilot from the seat with the help of the purser. The relief pilot occupied the seat for a normal landing and taxi to the gate,” he added.

Dr. William Makis said the reported incident is the fourth pilot incapacitation in two weeks.

Dr. Kevin Stillwagon writes:

Long international flights are the safest right now due to extra pilots required to be on the flight deck during critical phases of flight that include the takeoff, initial climb, final descent, and landing. This extra pilot requirement does not currently exist for domestic flights and short international flights. However, having that extra layer of safety will not matter if this scenario happens again with involuntary flight control inputs. No number of pilots on the flight deck will be able to respond in time.

Here’s the scenario: The rudder pedals are connected to each other. The captain has two rudder pedals, and so does the first officer. They are connected to each other by cables, and when either pedal is pushed, the corresponding pedal for the other pilot moves as well. On short final approach like this flight was in at the time, if the first officer had a tonic spasm that shoved one of the rudders fully forward with his leg fully extended, the captain might not be able to overcome that control input. This would put the aircraft into a violent roll that would not be recoverable.

Seizures in pilots is a huge deal, specifically because of possible involuntary flight control inputs. If a pilot had even one seizure in his or her past that was of an unknown cause, there must be a four-year recovery period with no seizures, and the last two years must be without anticonvulsant medications. If a pilot has had more than one seizure in his or her past, it is diagnosed as epilepsy. This requires ten years of no seizures and the last three years without anticonvulsant medications. After these recovery periods, extensive neurological examinations including imaging of the brain are required.

We know seizures after these shots happen. More than 6,000 have been reported in VAERS. I don’t know if the pilot who had the seizure on this flight had a covid shot or not, but I want to give you possible reasons of how an mRNA shot can result in seizures. Seizures like these are an indication that something has gone wrong in the brain tissue. It can be inflammation, a tumor, a vascular problem, or autoimmunity.

According to journalist Sally Beck, an airline captain said the airline industry is “poised on the precipice of disaster.”

Captain Shane Murdock, a pilot for more than 40 years, has found official data that back up his claim of impending global catastrophe:

There was a 272% rise in mayday calls in 2022, with a 386% surge in early 2023 (see chart).

There was also an unprecedented 126% increase in flight restrictions due to medical limitations.

Murdock thinks some pilots are ticking time bombs and claims many are not declaring ill-health. He said:

“They are not reporting brain fog, heart flutters, and dizzy spells because they don’t want to lose their jobs.”

Cpt Murdock thinks lack of action can have only one result. Many planes make emergency landings because of pilot incapacitations. He warned:

“Disasters will occur, and both aircrew and the traveling public will die unnecessarily.”

“MAYDAY MAYDAY Distress calls made by pilots were up 386% in the first 3 months of this year! Last year there was 272% increase. These 7700 mayday calls are reserved for dire emergency that put passengers and crew in danger,” Sally Beck writes.

“Between 2018, and 2019, the mayday average was 29.1 per cent of all distress calls. The graph shows there was an instant, steep increase when the va. cc. ines were mandated to pilots 3 years ago today,” Beck wrote.

“Plus, the number of multi-crew licences issued by Australia’s regulator CASA has increased by 126%. This restricts pilots to operating with multiple crew members and is issued when their medical status shows a possibility that they may become incapacitated whilst flying,” she added.

“Cpt Shane Murdock had 20 yrs with Virgin Australia. He notes a steep increase in pilot incapacitations and thinks some are ticking time bombs. He claims many are not declaring ill-health like brain fog, heart flutters and dizzy spells because they don’t want to lose their jobs,” she continued.

“Aviators have comprehensive annual health checks, or six-monthly if they have been ill. Rules state they can pass only with a less than 1 per cent chance of suffering an illness that could incapacitate them,” she added.

“How are they passing medicals if they are suffering serious adverse reactions? The FAA changed the ECG markers. The new limit is 50 per cent longer than the previous limit, and means that if a pilot has developed a heart condition, it could slip past,” she wrote.

“FAA violated their own rules that state no pilot can take medicines unless approved and in use for 12 months. Pilots are forbidden to take part in drug trials and all Covid-19 v.a. x. were allowed under emergency use authorisation. The trial finishes this year,” she continued.

Sally Beck writes at TCW:

It was November 15, 2020, when Australian airlines mandated Covid-19 vaccines for 900 pilots, and all air and ground crew. Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and Moderna were available in Australia.

Today is the third anniversary of that mandate and Cpt Murdock is one of 12 pilots who refused. He was sacked of course, accused of serious professional misconduct, a charge generally reserved for inappropriate sexual behaviour or reckless and dangerous behaviour.

Mr Murdock, 60, who lives near Sydney, Australia, flew as Captain for Virgin Australia for 20 years, and has held a licence since 1984. He also has an MSc in Aviation Human Factors, the science behind how humans interface with machines. He said: ‘Somewhere on the international network daily, you will find a plane has been turned back because of a health emergency. Either a passenger health emergency or crew health emergency.’

When pilots put out a mayday radio call to air traffic control, it is nicknamed a ‘squawk’. They use the code 7700 for all mayday calls which are reserved for serious incidents like pilot incapacitation or an uncontained fire on board. Few scenarios warrant a mayday; passengers and crew must face genuine peril.

There has been an unprecedented rise in the numbers of mayday calls as tracked by a bot set up by the X account @GCFlightAlerts. It posts when a pilot squawks 7700 anywhere in the world.
