One thing Democrats are great at is using identity politics to win votes. This election is no different. There has been a cry for months for Joe Biden to pick a “woman of color” for his Vice President. Nothing about qualifications but everything about the color of her skin. Klobuchar spoke out tonight about her decision but not everyone is buying her reason for dropping out:

“This is a historic moment. America must seize on this moment. And I truly believe as I told the Vice President…I think this is a moment to put a woman of color on that ticket.”
