Can anyone guess which candidate the nine individuals arrested in the fraudulent voter ring were voting for in the Beto O’Rourke vs. Ted Cruz for US Senate race?
Texans should demand the truth is revealed and not hidden to protect the Party involved in this scheme to steal votes from registered voters who follow the law.
According to ABC7 Amarillo, nine people have now been arrested in connection to participating in an illegal voting scheme in Edinburg, Texas.
The arrests follow an ongoing investigation where political workers recruited people who agreed to fraudulently claim residential addresses so they could vote in the specific city of Edinburg municipal races.
“Illegal voting, particularly an organized illegal voting scheme orchestrated by political operatives, is an affront to democracy and results in corruption at the highest level,” says Attorney General Paxton. “Each illegal vote silences the voice of a law-abiding registered voter. My office will continue to do everything in its power to uncover illegal voting schemes and bring to justice those who try to manipulate the outcome of elections in Texas.”
More arrests are expected in connection to this investigation.
Valley Central – According to Edinburg Mayor, Richard Molina, this is the second round of arrests, which stem from an ongoing investigation of political workers who allegedly convinced people to change their home address to participate in the Edinburg Election, which is a surprise to Molina.
“Residency is always hard to prove where people live and people’s intent to live somewhere where it’s not the government’s job to decide where they live,” said Molina.
However, Richard Garcia, who was the Mayor of Edinburg for 11 years, is not surprised by the investigation.
“I’m not surprised, I think everyone was shocked and surprised by the numbers,” said Garcia. “The state says it was an organized effort, I don’t know if the left hand knew what the right hand was doing and how it far it was pushed, but it certainly stuck out like a sore thumb.”
Earlier this year, Paxton announced a significant voter fraud initiative in the adjacent Starr County where DA Omar Escobar pledged to crack down on voter fraud after questionable registrant records and mail-in ballot applications surfaced. Officials made seven arrests.
Recently, four North Texas women, who allegedly belonged to a paid voter fraud ring in Tarrant County, were indicted on 30 counts of voter fraud following an investigation by the AG’s office. [caption id="attachment_58066" align="alignnone" width="620"]

Court documents filed by Paxton’s office accused the county’s former Democratic Party executive director of funding the voter fraud ring’s criminal activities.
The Rio Grande Valley area also made national news before the 2018 election when the Public Interest Legal Foundation released a complaint to county and state officers regarding “altered” voter registration forms circulated by the Texas Democratic Party that were directed to noncitizen residents.
The applications featured pre-printed claims of U.S. citizenship.
The Texas Secretary of State referred the matter to Attorney General Paxton for further investigation. –Neonettle
