The “thugs” don’t care what they damage. This is the lesson learned tonight after puzzled leftists asked on social media why protesters attacked CNN.
Protestors climbed atop the CNN sign outside the network’s headquarters in Atlanta this evening. The CNN Center sign was spray-painted with messages (see below). Protesters stood with Black Lives Matter Flags and Mexican Flags as they watched the crowd below.
As the crowd in downtown Atlanta grew bigger, the police shut down the CNN Center building but protesters broke glass at the entrance:

The protesters moved to block the highway and then tried to destroy police cars. They are being pushed toward Centennial Park:
The Interstate is now blocked in downtown Atlanta north I-75/85 just before main downtown exits to GA Tech and Piedmont Park.
