When President Trump skipped the climate talks at the G7 Summit over the weekend, the leftist media lost their collective minds.

The far left Metro UK reported on President Trump’s absence – Donald Trump skipped an important discussion on climate change with other world leaders, leaving just an empty chair in his place.

Other members of the G7 were debating how to help the fire-ravaged Amazon and reduce carbon emissions but there was no sign of the US President.

Trump had been scheduled to attend Monday’s session on climate, biodiversity and oceans at the summit in Biarritz, France. Instead, the climate-change sceptic president sent his aides.

For special effect, Reuters took a photo of the empty chair where President Trump should have been sitting. The Sun, for their part, included the dramatic photo to prove that if he cared at all about the environment, he wouldn’t have skipped the critical discussions.

While world leaders were discussing ways they could throw money out of the window, President Trump was likely discussing ways to build our economy and put Americans to work. Who knows—perhaps President Trump saw this important report from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) before heading off to France?

According to Real Clear Energy -There has been no warming in the United States since at least 2005, according to updated data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

In January 2005, NOAA began recording temperatures at its newly built U.S. Climate Reference Network (USCRN). USCRN includes 114 pristinely maintained temperature stations spaced relatively uniformly across the lower 48 states. NOAA selected locations that were far away from urban and land-development impacts that might artificially taint temperature readings.

Prior to the USCRN going online, alarmists and skeptics sparred over the accuracy of reported temperature data. With most preexisting temperature stations located in or near urban settings that are subject to false temperature signals and create their own microclimates that change over time, government officials performed many often-controversial adjustments to the raw temperature data. Skeptics of an asserted climate crisis pointed out that most of the reported warming in the United States was non-existent in the raw temperature data, but was added to the record by government officials.

The USCRN has eliminated the need to rely on, and adjust the data from, outdated temperature stations. Strikingly, as shown in the graph below, USCRN temperature stations show no warming since 2005 when the network went online. If anything, U.S. temperatures are now slightly cooler than they were 14 years ago.

Will AOC and her allies in the Democrat Party stop pushing for the New Green Deal that would decimate our economy, now that this critical report has been made public?
