This afternoon, Joe Biden hosted a joint press conference with Japan’s Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga. During his bumbling introduction of Suga, Biden mentioned Hideki Matsuyama, Japan’s first professional golfer to win the esteemed Master’s Golf Tournament.
“You’ve got a Japanese boy coming over here, and guess what? He won the Master’s!” Biden told Japan’s Prime Minister during his introduction.
