There is a frightening ethos of lawlessness and irrationality within the Democrat party.  It is fueled and condoned by establishment Democrats and Republicans.  Some refuse to condemn it, and others who openly condone and support itBiden’s press secretary just yips convincingly at reporters and ‘circles back” like a small dog might circle back to chase its own tail.

Under the auspices of health and safety, Joe Biden is requiring US citizens to be tested for Covid both before and after air travel as well as self-quarantined following international travel.  He also intends indefinite mask and other mandates and now requires two masks because…uhh…well, just because.  This draconian ‘safety’ plan is laid out in some of his numerous unlawful executive actions.

However, he also believes that illegal immigrants who are proven to be deleterious threats to society based upon criminal history are acceptable and should not be deported.

This logic of globalist accelerationism is illogic.

Law Enforcement Today Reports:

“Confirmed illegal aliens [who] commit crimes such as rape, assault, DUI or drug-related crimes will not be deported, the administration confirmed on Monday, according to Gateway Pundit, the Washington Free Beacon and numerous other sources.

Former Acting Ice Director, Ron Vitiello Agrees and is trying to sound the alarm:

“This administration is sending a signal that will travel the globe that we are going to go soft on border security and soft on immigration enforcement,” Vitiello said. “They made exceptions for people who are convicted of aggravated felonies and if they just crossed the border, so that leaves millions of people in the United States who are criminally involved. They’re in gangs, they could be accused of crimes like murder and pedophilia, rape, arson, robbery, human trafficking, those people would still, not convicted of those crimes even though they committed them, they wouldn’t be subject to deportation under the guidelines being put out so we’re definitely going soft on interior immigration enforcement.”

This sounds like everything conservatives warned about prior to the election.

Law Enforcement Today continues:

“The guidelines were contained in internal memos obtained by the Washington Post are allegedly to prioritize “threats to national security, border security, and public safety,” ICE said in a statement.”

Yes, you read that right.  But it gets so much worse.

The Biden administration also seeks to reduce the number of convictions and then–after refusing to convict them–ignore the dangerous illegals who have not been convicted:

“However according to the Beacon, the new guidelines significantly reduce the criminal convictions [emphasis added] required in order for an illegal alien to be considered a “public safety threat.”

“Generally, these convictions would not include drug-based crimes (less serious offenses), simple assault, DUI, money laundering, property crimes, fraud, tax crimes, solicitation, or charges without convictions” [emphasis added] according to acting ICE director Tae Johnson in an email.

The final part is key. In order to be considered a “public safety threat,” there needs to be a conviction.

So, if they don’t bother to convict anyone, then there is no safety threat.  And, they have already said that they don’t intend to convict most criminals.

Johnson continued that individuals with “gang tattoos” and other “loose” affiliations with gang activity would also not face deportation, according to the Post.

During a Monday press briefing, press secretary Jen Psaki confirmed that ICE would not deport illegal aliens who were guilty of either assault or DUI under the new scheme.”

Then, comes more doublespeak.  Biden’s press secretary (the circle back girl) claims that crimes are not acceptable, but then says we will accept them.  This person could never parent a child, much less try to look after an entire country:

“She claims that while such crimes are not “acceptable behavior,” the administration is “talking about the prioritization of who is going to be deported from the country.”

The final plan would need to be approved by Biden’s Director of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas and would serve to significantly reduce ICE arrests and deportations, an obvious suck-up to far-left progressive Democrats who have been trying to abolish ICE.”

ICE had also placed a 100 day pause on deportations due to an executive order signed by Biden.  However, this was ruled illegal by a judge in Texas:

“…that move was quickly stopped by a federal judge in Texas, who ruled that the Biden administration failed to provide “any concrete, reasonable justification” for the moratorium.”

This is a far cry from how Donald Trump dealt with safety at the border during his presidency:

“Two years ago, border apprehensions exploded under the Trump administration, which made national security and securing the border a priority. In that year, 2019, border apprehensions hit their highest annual level in over ten years.

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), who serves on the House Subcommittee on Immigration and Citizenship told the Free Beacon the approach being taken by the Biden administration “will make our communities less safe and compromise the abilities of law enforcement to protect innocent Americans.”

None of this should come as any surprise to anyone.  Progressives have been shouting their love for a borderless chaotic lawless society for years.  And conservatives continue to denounce it, but it only gets worse.

“The radical left has long promised to reverse the Trump administration’s efforts to enforce our laws and punish illegal immigration, and the Biden administration has wasted no time in fulfilling these promises,” Biggs said.

“I support the men and women who serve our nation at ICE and I endorse their work to keep ALL illegal aliens off our streets and back to their country of origin.”

In addition to Biggs, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee also slammed the Biden administration for acting as dictators instead of “reaching across the aisle” as Biden had promised.

“I’m not seeing any moderation,” Huckabee told the Todd Starnes Show. “We might as well have elected AOC as president.”

At the Monday presser, Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked Psaki how it served the public interest and safety of the American people by no longer deporting illegal aliens convicted of DUI and assault. Instead of “circling back” to Doocy with an answer, she basically stuttered and stammered through her “answer.”
