There won’t be any Black Lives Matter marches in Houston for the murder of Sgt. Harold Preston, a beloved member of the Houston Police Department who was shot and killed while responding to a domestic violence call to the Houston Police Department from the wife of an illegal alien with a long criminal history in the United States. The Biden mainstream media has also ignored this horrific story about the tragic shooting death of an Amerian hero who lost his life to a criminal who should never have been living in the United States.
Officers shot in Houston, Texas. Another stark reminder of the dangers cops across America face as they fight crime and disorder. Houston police are in my prayers. https://t.co/bfBf7m4xRo

Sgt. Harold Preston was a 41-year veteran of the @HoustonPolice — a cop who led a life of significance. A hero shot and killed today, Harold was a selfless public servant who we will #NeverForget. My prayers are with his family, community, and fellow officers. @ArtAcevedo pic.twitter.com/x1NqL7CBlu

Breitbart News – On Tuesday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials placed a detainer on the accused cop-killer due to his reported illegal presence in the United States.
Chief Acevedo identified Manzano as the alleged shooter and said he has a criminal history.
A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement official told Breitbart Texas on condition of anonymity that they placed an immigration detainer on Manzano, a citizen of El Salvador, after determining he was illegally present in the United States. The official said Manzano has no deportation history.
Houston police officers responded to a call on the city’s south side Tuesday morning. It was at least the third time officers had been called to this residence in the past two weeks for domestic disturbances, according to Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo. The wife of 51-year-old Elmer Rolando Manzano called police when she could not get into the home to get her belongings.
After about an hour, Manzano’s 14-year-old son unlocked the door from outside and saw his father with a pistol.
“The suspect immediately engaged officers, shooting multiple rounds striking Officer Courtney Waller in the arm and striking Officer (Harold) Preston multiple times,” Chief Acevedo told reporters at an afternoon press conference. Sergeant Harold Preston died from multiple wounds to the head and a shoulder wound that embedded into his spine, the chief stated.
Acevedo said Sgt. Preston served the Houston Police Department for 41 years. He called the man an exemplary officer who “led from the front.”
The Houston police chief said Manzano will likely face multiple charges including murder of a police officer. “As good as he was as a cop, he was a better human being,” Acevedo said.
