As the Biden administration has been on the defensive over cocaine found inside the White House, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told a blatant lie in an attempt to run cover for the Biden administration on Friday.

When reporters continued to press Pierre about the issue, she falsely claimed that the Biden family was not present when cocaine was found inside the White House.

The White House Pool report indicates that the entire Biden family, including First Son Hunter Biden, were present last Friday at the White House.

Pierre went so far as to attack the New York Post, calling their reporting ‘irresponsible’ because of the alleged factual error, when it turned out that Pierre was the one in the wrong.

The tense exchange occurred after New York Post reporter Caitlin Doornbos asked if Jean-Pierre could “say once and for all whether or not the cocaine belonged to the Biden family,” which caused Pierre to scold her.

Previously, Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates bizarrely cited the Hatch Act in an attempt to dodge questions about who possessed the cocaine found inside the White House.

The Hatch Act is a law passed by Congress to prevent federal employees from using state resources to campaign for partisan offices.

Conservatives skewered White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre after she scolded a reporter for asking if cocaine found in the West Wing of the White House belonged to the Bidens.

During Friday’s press briefing, New York Post reporter Caitlin Doornbos asked if Jean-Pierre could “say once and for all whether or not the cocaine belonged to the Biden family” and also inquired as to why deputy press secretary Andrew Bates dodged questions related to the cocaine by citing the Hatch Act the day before.

Jean-Pierre appeared visibly uncomfortable as she responded, “There has been some irresponsible reporting about the family. And so I’ve got to call that out here. And I have been very clear. I was clear two days ago when talking about this over and over again as I was being asked the question.”
