The Department of Defense under the Woke Biden regime is changing how the military functions. Biden has followed in Obama’s footsteps, using executive orders to maneuver new military rules into place, rules that do not reflect the concerns of average Americans. Unfortunately, the Biden administration is more concerned with pushing gay and transgender policies than fortifying the U.S. military to be ready to protect the United States.
Senator Marsha Blackburn tweeted, “We need to make our military strong – not woke.”

 

The Center for Military Readiness (CMR), a Livonia, Michigan-based nonprofit wrote an analysis detailing what is taking place entitled “Biden Pentagon Quietly Expands Woke Transgender Policies in the Military.”

The Epoch Times is reporting that according to the analysis, Biden’s changes include adding new transgender jargon to official military lingo. The term “self-identified gender” will be replaced with “preferred gender.”

“The nuance suggests that if a person ‘self-identifies’ as a person of the opposite sex, they must be treated as such, even though changes in appearance cannot change biological sex,” the analysis continues, indicating that identifying as another gender will now be as easy as a man saying he is a woman,

“The DoD Instruction rests on the false premise that a different ‘gender role,’ if recognized by a bureaucratic change in a person’s ‘gender marker,’ is the same as or equivalent to a change in biological sex. Therefore, a man claiming to be a woman must be treated as a woman, and vice versa.“

The analysis noted that this could have a huge impact on women’s sports at service academies and may also mean that men can easily be assigned to female housing.

The woke changes are just that, politically motivated with an ideological bent that is out of step with the concerns Americans have for their military. Biden’s social agenda does not promote military readiness, combat effectiveness, the minimization of U.S. casualties, or any of the other goals that have provided the foundation for military policy. The CMR analysis noted that the changes are considered ok by the administration even if they harm the institutions. The increased possibilities of sexual misconduct and privacy violations are obvious issues that result from woke policies and can cause harm,

“These mandates are prime examples of woke-ism in the military, defined as policies that impose progressive ideology and take them to extremes with enforced compliance, even if it hurts the institution.”

The Obama & Biden administration’s choices regarding woke military policy seem like an intentional decision to weaken our nation’s ability to defend itself and publicize our frailty.

Senator Rick Scott tweeted a video where he tackled the questions regarding how a woke agenda puts our country in a weakened state. He asked what communist China thinks when they read that the U.S. military is focused on pronouns rather than being a lethal force.
“Our military should be allowed to focus on becoming a killing machine that can strongly oppose Communist China, not distracted by @JoeBiden’s woke policies.”
