The far-left, “comedian” Bill Maher has an opinion on just about every topic. A large percentage of the time, we disagree with him. Last night, however, during his Real Time show on HBO, Bill Maher’s segment was mostly spot-on.

Last night, Maher ended his segment by sharing his opinion on how Americans are overreacting to COVID-19. Maher told his audience, “And finally, the next time we come up with a worldwide pandemic, we have to come up with a better solution than everyone becomes Howie Mandel.”

Maher explained, “You know Howie–I know Howie. Who doesn’t love Howie? The world’s most famous germaphobe who was social distancing before it was cool. Well, of course, now everyone’s making the joke that Howie had it right all along. No, Howie would be the first to tell you that he has a disease—OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), that f*cks up your mind.”

Maher explains the painful truth about OCD and how it affects the lives of people like Howie Mandel.

“I worry that the past two months of quarantine have given people the idea that the way for humans to win a million-year war with microbes is to avoid them completely. And I’m here to tell you—you can’t!” an agitated Maher told his viewers.

He continued, “The key to beating COVID isn’t dining through glass or never going to a concert or a ball game again. It’s your immune system.

“You hear people say, ‘COVID19 is a new virus so the immune system doesn’t know how to handle it,” Maher said.

“Bullshit! Of course, it does,” he explained. “That’s why the vast majority of people who’ve had it either recovered or didn’t even know they had it,” Maher explains.

“What do you think did that? “he asked? “The human immune system!” Maher answers.

“Now there are people with immune systems that can’t do the job, and we should make it a priority to protect them. But compulsively washing, being scared of your own hands? That can’t become the new normal,” Maher added.

The Real Time host reminded everyone of the John Travolta movie about the boy with a rare auto-immune disease who lived his life in a bubble. Maher mocks frightened Americans, saying it’s a good thing bubbles for people aren’t being sold on Amazon or they’d be selling out.

Watch Maher’s incredible segment here:

Maher only gets two things wrong in this video, and they’re both related to his far-left, radical political ideology. The first he gets wrong is calling the Christian CEO and founder of My Pillow, Mike Lindell, who also happens to be a huge supporter of President Trump, “an idiot.” The second thing Maher gets wrong, is at the end of the video when Maher says, thinking you can control the spread of coronavirus by paranoia is the same as thinking you can stop illegal aliens from entering our country by building a wall.

Overall, we give Maher high ratings for this video.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
