The irony that self-made black billionaire media mogul Oprah Winfrey just declared that “whiteness” gives benefits to white people in the “caste system” of America is big. Winfrey is the woman who became a billionaire off of the suburban white women who couldn’t get enough of her. They made the poor girl from Tennessee into a very rich woman, but she’s still bitter and blames white people for having a natural advantage in America. Also, Oprah could very well be the single most influential person who helped Barack Obama become president in 2008. Yes, the irony is that white America made Oprah very rich, and white America elected Barack Obama as POTUS.
Whiteness is an advantage?
Ask the white people stuck in poverty in towns across America.
Ask the high school student who is white and gets passed over by a college in the name of “diversity.”
Ask the white job applicant who gets passed over for a job for being white.
She’s smart. Oprah knows better than this but is stuck in her own racist mantra, where she honestly believes white people have an advantage. Remember when she said, old white people need to die out already. She made another assumption that all old white people are racists. Who’s the racist now?
In an episode entitled “Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man: Part 1,” Winfrey interviewed former NFL linebacker Emmanuel Acho.
Oprah interviewed white people who feel quilty about their whiteness. She praised her white guests for accusing themselves of being “racist.”
“There are white people who are not as powerful as the system of white people…the caste system that’s been put in place…but they still, no matter where they are on the rung, or the ladder of success, they still have their whiteness. You still have your whiteness. That’s what the term “white privilege” is. It means that whiteness still gives you an advantage, no matter what.
Oprah is worth $2.7 billion. She is the richest black woman in the world, yet she still thinks poor white people have more advantage than she does because of their “whiteness” pic.twitter.com/g4rNTq1tZj

Americans have moved forward, but it’s the racist people like Oprah who keep pulling us back into the past.
Ironically, Oprah should check her billionaire privilege and understand that just because you have the platform to speak, you may want to practice being a humble listener.
