On a day that is sure to be full of wild twists and turns, Co-Founder of a Black Lives Matter group in Rhode Island is endorsing President Trump.  And in fact, he has been outspoken about his support for Trump for over a year!

Mark Fisher is the Co-Founder of BLM in Rhode Island.  But I have to tell you up front that Mark doesn’t fit with the majority of BLM leaders we’ve seen taking center stage during, and in the wake of, those “mostly peaceful” riots — er… I mean, “protests”.  Check out this clip from the New York Post of Mark talking up President Trump’s policies and straight-shooting about Kamala!

“Trump has done more for the Black community than any president I can think of in my lifetime.”

-Mark Fisher, Co-Founder BLM Rhode Island

I want to point out that this man was alive during both terms of Barack Obama.  That’s a bold statement to make.  It’s a true statement, but I applaud him for his honest assessment regardless of the societal pushback he is definitely getting for his willingness to deal with facts.

This isn’t the first time Mark Fisher made clear that his views didn’t blindly line up with the democratic party.  In 2023, a local Rhode Island news outlet reported that Fisher “found common ground” with those who recognized the January 6th fiasco was a “setup”.

“The Democratic Party and Joe Biden haven’t done anything to address the problems in my community. Barack Obama didn’t do anything for us, either,” said Fisher, who moved to Maryland last year.

Fisher said when he got to the Maryland-DC area, he “found common ground” with some in the BLM community about the January 6th insurrection.

“I feel like it was a setup — the whole thing could have been prevented and handled differently,” said Fisher of January 6. “Now, they’re handing out [prison] sentences like Halloween candy.”

Fisher says that the Democratic Party is ‘a racist party that strikes at the heart of the black family and the nuclear family.’

“The Democrats have become intoxicated with power, and the Department of Justice has been weaponized,” said Fisher about his opposition to the Biden Administration. “Biden needs a commission on reparations. He’s been flip-flopping for so long, I have no respect for him. And we need to be focusing on our country before sending money overseas. I’ve become frustrated with their policies and the lack of initiative in our community.”

And check out this clip from 2023 of Mark telling Fox News that he literally believes that the democratic party is racist:

So much for the “Trump is a racist” narrative.  According to a current Fox News story, polling from May showed that support for Biden from black adults had collapsed when compared with the percentage who supported him at the beginning of his term.

Mark Fisher, who is the co-founder of Black Lives Matter Rhode Island, joined ‘FOX & Friends’ to discuss why some Black voters are leaving the Democrats as they contemplate who they will vote for in the 2024 presidential election.

“It’s the duplicity of the Democrats, the hypocrisy,” Fisher told Lawrence Jones Tuesday. “We’re not stupid. The brothers are not stupid. We understand when someone’s for us and when someone is not, and it’s obvious that the Democratic Party is not for us.”

A New York Times/Siena College poll this month raised alarm bells for Democrats after it found Trump had reached an unprecedented level of support from Black voters in battleground states that President Biden won in 2020. Black voters in Nevada, Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are now registering 22% support for Trump, up from 8% in 2020.

A poll from May showed only 41% of Black adults said they wanted Biden to run for a second term, and just 55% said they would likely support him in the general election. These figures starkly contrast with his first few months in office, when 9 out of 10 Black voters approved of the job he was doing.

Fisher suggested that Black voters who are still voting blue are “misinformed” and aren’t educated on Trump’s policies and how they benefited the Black community.

“A lot of people are misinformed,” Fisher said. “They don’t really understand because they don’t educate themselves on Donald Trump as a person and his history, but if they do that, and it’s going to take… educated leaders to getting the word out there, I think that it’ll happen on its own, and it’ll be organic, because personally, I love the man.

“How could you not like a real man? How could you not relate to someone like that?” he continued.

The fact that Kamala Harris continues to pretend that all is going smoothly with the historical democratic support base is laughable, particularly when individuals like Mark Fisher are openly calling for black Americans to turn their backs on the democrats and vote for President Trump.

As the Western Journal is reporting, Mark’s latest comments include a withering summary of what he expects to happen under a potential Kamala presidency.

“If she ever got anywhere close to power, it would be a disaster for this country,” he elaborated.

“Historically, the Democratic Party has been the party that black people overwhelmingly vote for. We haven’t gotten anything in return,” Fisher continued.

Fisher said he had been a life-long Democrat who supported President Joe Biden in 2020, but now saying he regretted that choice.

“For so long, we’ve just been blindly loyal to the Democrat Party — the Democratic Party — for no reason,” he said.

“They have given us no reason to have such loyalty — to maintain such loyalty — to them,” he added.

On the final day of the 2024 Election, it is hard to imagine a scenario playing out — assuming that “free and fair election” we keep being promised — in which President Trump doesn’t come out on top.  There are simply too many people waking up to the fact that the democratic party leadership has done nothing but fixate on retaining power at the expense of the country.

When a Black Lives Matter leader is praising the pro-family policies of President Trump, deriding Kamala Harris as a “disaster”, and arguing that “people were doing a lot better under Donald Trump” — that “landslide victory” I keep mentioning just seems that much more likely.
