A Delta Boeing 757 lost a nose wheel as it prepared to take off from Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

The wheel then rolled down the runway.

The Daily Wire’s Gregg Re shared audio from the moment another aircraft noticed the plane lost its nose wheel.

“Delta 982, this is the aircraft looking at you. One of your nose tires just came off. It just rolled off the runway behind you,” DAL 1783 said.

“Tower, this is Delta 1783, you may want somebody come out. Looks like the nose tire ran off the runway towards the end down there,” DAL 1783 said.

Customers and their bags were removed from the plane and transferred to the gate on buses and then onto a replacement aircraft.

The FAA is currently investigating the incident. No one was injured.

There are around 2000 Boeing 757s and can carry nearly 250 passengers.

Per NBC News:

The plane had 172 passengers — as well as two pilots and four crew members — and was bound for Bogotá, the Colombian capital, Delta said Wednesday. But passengers were instead removed from the plane and later put on a replacement flight. There were no injuries.
