As if things couldn’t get worse for Biden and his military leaders. It is being reported that a U.S. Predator drone had a ‘kill shot’ on the terrorist before he killed 13 service members but Biden bowed to the Taliban after they ‘denied permission to shoot.’
Red State and Newsbusters are reporting on the video below where Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Western Hemisphere Affairs Roger Pardo-Maurer says that the Department of Defense had foreknowledge of the Kabul bomber AND denied permission to fire via the Predator drone that had a lock on the bomber. This confirms the intel reported just days ago that the U.S. knew when and where the terror would happen (see below). When confronted with the information Pentagon Spox John Kirby became angry and then released a statement that only confirmed the document leak was legit.
“Permission to shoot was requested and was denied by the Taliban. Because we are in this process of negotiating with the Taliban who aren’t even in control of their own government or their own people.”

TRANSCRIPT OF THE EXCHANGE:
PAULINA SODI: The Biden Administration faces serious criticism over the manner in which it has handled the withdrawal from Afghanistan.
SATCHA PRETTO: And we connect with Roger Pardo-Maurer, who was the Deputy Secretary of Defense and also served in the U.S. Army in Afghanistan. We’re glad to have you join us on Edición Digital.
ROGER PARDO-MAURER: Thank you very much. Always a privilege.
PRETTO: Well, Roger, the question many of us are asking ourselves today is: what’s going to happen with those nearly 200 or so Americans that were not evacuated out of Afghanistan?
PARDO-MAURER: Look, we’ve got to get them out. They’re American citizens. We can’t leave anyone behind. Period. Either by reason or by force.
SODI: Roger, considering the results to date, can it be said that this is a mission accomplished?
PARDO-MAURER: No. Absolutely not. But, what mission do you refer to? Because this entire episode, which I call the Battle for Evacuation, we’ve gotten out, as you mentioned, about 122,000. There is an estimated, let’s say, 100 or up to 200 thousand to whom we owe to get out, to get out of Afghanistan. So we’re not even halfway to fulfillment but, indeed, the United States has left Afghanistan so this has entered into another phase. To all those who are asking, “what can I do to help?” “What’s going to happen?” “How are we going to honor our promises to the Afghans?”, I say: calm. We’re going to see how it gets done, but it’s going to get done. Somehow, something is going to get established which people are already talking about an Underground Railroad, inspired by the (original) Underground Railroad with which fugitive slaves were removed from the South prior to the Civil War. So this is by no means over. We’re not even halfway there.
PRETTO: But it will be interesting to see, then, what the strategy that the Biden Administration puts in place. Now, speaking of this president’s legacy, when we’re talking about 13 service members losing their lives over the past few days- in addition to the 2400 over the past 20 years. What legacy does he leave behind after this chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan?
PARDO-MAURER: We can’t even talk about a legacy. These are events that are still just now becoming news. And what they’re already saying, people who are involved, for example, with those 13 service members who- by the way, half were Hispanics. Espinosa, Lopez, Sanchez, Merola, they were Hispanic. What is being said by people who were involved is that the Department of Defense already knew who the bomber was, and when (the Kabul attack would happen), and that a Predator drone had a lock on him, OK, and that they refused to grant permission to fire upon that bomber. (Permission) was requested, and was denied. Why? Because we are in this process of negotiating with the Taliban, who aren’t even in control of their own government or their own people. So what is the legacy? It’s too soon to talk about that but it is total chaos, poorly managed.
SODI: Without a doubt, a very interesting issue to analyze. Thank you very much for joining us, Roger Pardo Maurer. Thank you for these words.
JUST DAYS AGO, AN INTEL LEAK EXPOSED THE FACT THAT BIDEN KNEW OF THE LOCATION OF AN IMPENDING ATTACK:
New evidence that the Deep State is in an internal battle over Afghanistan just surfaced and it’s a battle between the intel community and the White House/Pentagon. It reared its ugly head with a leak that made Pentagon Spokesperson John Kirby furious when he was questioned earlier today (video below).
He also released a statement condemning the release of the classified information confirming that these are legit documents:
“This story is based on the unlawful disclosure of classified information and internal deliberations of a sensitive nature. As soon as we became aware of the material divulged to the reporter, we engaged Politico at the highest levels to prevent the publication of information that would put our troops and our operations at the airport at greater risk. We condemn the unlawful disclosure of classified information and oppose the publication of a story based on it while a dangerous operation is ongoing.”
A Politico report of leaked classified intel makes a stunning claim the Pentagon knew about the impending suicide bombing at the Kabul Airport’s Abbey Gate. Defense Secretary Austin and Gen. Milley knew about the bombing and held a Pentagon meeting just 24 hours before the attack. According to classified notes of the meeting shared with Politico, preparations for an “imminent casualty event” were to be made but they kept the Abbey Gate, reportedly the “highest risk” area, open the next day.
Politico reports:
(Politico) – Just 24 hours before a suicide bomber detonated an explosive outside Hamid Karzai International Airport, senior military leaders gathered for the Pentagon’s daily morning update on the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan.
Speaking from a secure video conference room on the third floor of the Pentagon at 8 a.m. Wednesday — or 4:30 p.m. in Kabul — Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin instructed more than a dozen of the department’s top leaders around the world to make preparations for an imminent “mass casualty event,” according to classified detailed notes of the gathering shared with POLITICO.
During the meeting, Gen. Mark Milley, the chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, warned of “significant” intelligence indicating that the Islamic State’s Afghanistan affiliate, ISIS-K, was planning a “complex attack,” the notes quoted him as saying. Commanders calling in from Kabul relayed that the Abbey Gate, where American citizens had been told to gather in order to gain entrance to the airport, was “highest risk,” and detailed their plans to protect the airport.
“I don’t believe people get the incredible amount of risk on the ground,” Austin said, according to the classified notes.
On a separate call at 4 that afternoon, or 12:30 a.m. on Thursday in Kabul, the commanders detailed a plan to close Abbey Gate by Thursday afternoon Kabul time. But the Americans decided to keep the gate open longer than they wanted in order to allow their British allies, who had accelerated their withdrawal timeline, to continue evacuating their personnel, based at the nearby Baron Hotel.
American troops were still processing entrants to the airport at Abbey Gate at roughly 6 p.m. in Kabul on Thursday when a suicide bomber detonated his explosive vest there, killing nearly 200 people, including 13 U.S. service members. (read more)
