Covington Student Nick Sandmann’s family hired famed lawyer L. Lin Wood (more on Wood below) to go up against the media and individuals who have slandered the teen after the incident in D.C. (see report below) between Covington students and a Native-American man.
Wood is famous for winning defamation suits. He’s who you’d want if you were in the shoes of the Sandmann family. They want their son’s name cleared and restored to good standing after the media and others blamed him for an incident that happened at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial. The media twisted the truth from the beginning, but eventually, several videos proved the students were the victims.
Watch L. Lin Wood’s video and you’ll see the truth:
OUR PREVIOUS REPORT ON L. LIN WOOD:
Justice may be coming for the young Covington student who was wrongly accused and slandered by the news media and politicians over an incident at the Lincoln Memorial in D.C.
The people who trashed Nicholas Sandmann will be wishing they hadn’t accused this young man of doing something he never did. The family just hired a high-profile lawyer known for winning significant cases like this one.
Attorney L. Lin Wood is a big gun in the legal world. He has represented high profile people and according to The Washington Post “often seeks eye-popping damages for those he believes have been libeled or slandered in the press”.
Wood has spoken out in the past about the media’s feeding frenzy on a story:
“In an era of fake news, in continually deteriorating discussions of issues on social media and the Internet, these cases are vitally important to send a message to the public that there are lines you cannot cross without being held legally accountable.”
Lin Wood represented Republican candidate Herman Cain over sexual harassment allegations in 2011. Other high-profile clients are the family of Natalee Holloway, Richard Jewell and the family of JonBenet Ramsey.
Wood tweeted out to confirm the great news:
According to the Nicholas Sandmann family attorney, L. Lin Wood will be representing the wrongly accused Covington student:
“He is committed to bringing justice to 16-year-old Nick Sandmann and his family.” – Family Attorney Todd McMurtry
Nicholas Sandmann was targeted and is still being targeted by the media and by some politicians who continue to twist what happened in D.C. to fit their narrative. The group of young students was waiting for a bus when a group started verbally abusing them and then Sandmann was approached by a Native American loudly beating a drum. Sandmann stood his ground but did nothing. For this, he is crucified. A smirk is a crime now? Our Orwellian society seems to think that a hat and a grin should be condemned.
We hope the attorney for Sandmann does everything in his power to take down those who would try and destroy a child. Not until this is done, will the media and radical politicians think twice before doing this again.
