President Biden is showing his weakness on foreign policy yet again as Russia and Ukraine stand on the brink of war.  Tensions continue to escalate on the Ukrainian-Russian border and rather than the United States taking a leading role in negotiations, French President Emmanuel Macron has repeatedly met with President Putin to calm tensions.  Some intelligence reports indicate that Russia may invade Ukraine this Wednesday on February 16th.  With a disastrous war that could claim tens of thousands of lives as close as 2 days away, you’d think that it would be at the top of the administration’s priority list.  Biden doesn’t seem to agree, with the President declining Ukrainian President Zelensky’s offer to meet in Ukraine and punting the issue to famously incompetent Vice President Kamala Harris.

The White House released a statement earlier this week saying that Kamala Harris would attend a security conference in Munich, Germany to address the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.

“Vice President Kamala Harris will travel to Munich, Germany to attend the February 18-20 Munich Security Conference.  Building on the Biden-Harris Administration’s intensive engagement with European allies and partners, the Vice President’s engagements in Munich will demonstrate our ironclad commitment to our NATO Allies, reaffirm our shared interest in upholding the principles that have underpinned European peace and security since World War II, and underscore our commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”  The White House statement reads.

Today, the press attempted to get Biden to address the ongoing situation in Ukraine and he blew them off, wishing them a Happy Valentine’s day instead of answering questions.
