The New York Post Reports–
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s leading infectious disease expert, tested positive for COVID-19 Wednesday.
Fauci tested positive on a rapid antigen test and was “experiencing mild symptoms,” the National Institutes of Health said in a statement.
The NIH noted that Fauci was fully vaccinated and has received two booster shots.
“Dr. Fauci will isolate and continue to work from his home. He has not recently been in close contact with President Biden or other senior government officials,” the NIH said.
An NIH spokesperson said the following after Fauci tested positive earlier today:
“Dr. Fauci will isolate and continue to work from his home. He has not recently been in close contact with President Biden or other senior government officials”
Conservative social media personalities immediately took to Twitter to criticize the NIH Director. One account shared the news with their followers with a picture of a pile of masks on Fauci.

Vernon Jones, running for Congress in Georgia’s 10th District, mocked Fauci for the number of vaccines that he has received, saying that he has received ’18 less doses’ than Fauci and still hasn’t tested positive for Covid.
I’ve probably received 18 less doses of the COVID-19 vaccine than Dr. Fauci and still haven’t caught COVID.

Another Twitter user recalled when liberal media and politicians were calling Covid-19 a ‘disease of the unvaccinated’, highlighting the irony of the king Covidian himself catching the virus.
