A new report states that federal agents have seized documents from Michael Cohen, President Trump’s personal attorney that include documents related to payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels.

The FBI seized documents related to several issues — including Cohen’s payments to adult-film star Stormy Daniels, The New York Times added.

“Today the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York executed a series of search warrants and seized the privileged communications between my client, Michael Cohen, and his clients,” Cohen’s attorney Stephen Ryan said. “I have been advised by federal prosecutors that the New York action is, in part, a referral by the Office of Special Counsel, Robert Mueller.”

Daniels, whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford, says she had sex with Trump once in 2006 and was paid $130,000 by Trump’s personal attorney days before the 2016 presidential election as part of a nondisclosure agreement she is seeking to invalidate.

We’ll have to wait and see the extent of the revelations that come from the documents taken from Cohen before jumping to conclusions on this situation.
