Iran shot down a US drone overnight in an ‘unprovoked attack’ over the Strait of Hormuz.

The Iranian surface-to-air missile hit the drone over international waters about 17 miles from Iran.

Fox News reports that U.S. Central Command spokesman Captain Bill Urban confirmed that this was an unprovoked attack on a U.S. surveillance asset in international airspace: “Iranian reports that the aircraft was over Iran are false. This was an unprovoked attack on a U.S. surveillance asset in international airspace.”

Is Iran trying to pull the U.S. into a war?

Trish Regan had this to say about Iran’s plan just a few nights ago: “Iran is looking for a fight.”

Iran also fired cruise missiles into Saudi Arabia last night hitting a power plant.

“We do not have any intention for war with any country, but we are fully ready for war.” – Revolutionary Guard commander Gen. Hossein Salami
