On Thursday, ‘Godfather’ James Caan passed away at the age of 82.

His manager called him “one of the greatest and best actors our business has ever seen”

Beyond being one of the most well-respected actors in Hollywood, Caan was also known for being a supporter of President Trump and one of few vocal Republicans in the industry.

Caan called himself an “ultra conservative” in 2016.

“I’m not a G** damn Hollywood liberal, I’m not,” He said, adding that he primarily watches Fox News.

Caan also described himself as “very pro-Israel” and said that he supported President Trump in the 2016 Presidential election because Trump was not afraid to stand up to America’s adversaries.

“If Trump listens to the people he hires and he has a great cabinet, the scale tips that way for me. We need a hawk right now.” Caan said.
