A shocking decision!
Chicago State’s Attorney Kim Fox announced today that all charges against Jussie Smollett will be dropped.
TMZ is reporting that Chicago police are “furious” and feel something untoward is going on with Kim Foxx.
Chicago Police Supt. Johnson is reportedly “furious”.
He had no heads up this was going to happen.

Chicago’s police union is already calling for a federal investigation into the Cook County State’s Attorney’s actions in the Jussie Smollett case.
The statement from her office claims that “community service” and “forfeiting his bond” was enough to clear Smollett:
“After reviewing all of the facts and circumstances of the case, including Mr. Smollett’s volunteer service in the community and agreement to forfeit his bond to the City of Chicago, we believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case.”
He was facing 16 felony counts of lying to police in the alleged racial and homophobic attack.
Jussie will surrender his $10,000 bond.
TMZ reports they could not find any record of Smollett doing community service even though Foxx dropped charges based on Smollett’s supposed community service record.
The statement from Jussie Smollett’s lawyers:
“Today, all criminal charges against Jussie Smollett were dropped and his record has been wiped clean of the filing of this tragic complaint against him. Jussie was attacked by 2 people he was unable to identify on January 29th. He was a victim who was vilified and made to appear as a perpetrator as a result of false and inappropriate remarks made to the public, causing an inappropriate rush to judgment.”
“Jussie and many others were hurt by these unfair and unwarranted actions. This entire situation is a reminder that there should never be an attempt to prove a case in the court of public opinion. That is wrong. It is a reminder that a victim, in this case, Jussie, deserves dignity and respect. Dismissal of charges against the victim, in this case, was the only just result.”
Supposedly, one of the discrepancies in the case had to do with the purpose of the $3,500 check Smollett gave the brothers. The police maintained that the check was payment for the attack but the Smollett team claimed it was payment for personal training. Suuuure…
This is typical Chicago politics. The evidence against Smollett was there and should mean something in terms of more punishment. He gets no punishment for what he did…None, Zero, NADA. The Chicago Police Department Detectives spent so much time on this case and put together the case for prosecution. To just have the case dropped is a slap in the face to these hard-working people.
SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT:
As reported by 100 Percent Fed Up last month, Chicago Tribune reported, that after being approached by a politically connected lawyer, State’s Attorney Kimberly Foxx asked Chicago police Superintendent Eddie Johnson to turn over the investigation of Jussie Smollett’s reported attack to the FBI, according to communications provided to the Tribune.
Foxx reached out to Johnson after Tina Tchen, former chief of staff to first lady Michelle Obama, emailed Foxx saying the actor’s family had unspecified “concerns about the investigation.” Tchen, a close friend of Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s wife, said she was acting on behalf of the “Empire” actor and his family. A relative later exchanged texts with Foxx.
The National Review reports – The Chicago Fraternal Order of Police has requested that the Department of Justice open an investigation into Cook County state’s attorney Kim Foxx’s handling of the Jussie Smollett hate-crime-hoax case.
Foxx ultimately recused herself from the investigation, but only after asking Chicago Police Department superintendent Eddie Johnson to turn the case over to the FBI at the behest of one of Smollett’s relatives and a former Obama administration official, according to emails and text messages obtained by the Chicago Sun Times.
The unnamed Smollett relative was reportedly put in contact with Foxx by Tina Tchen, a private attorney who formerly served as chief of staff to Michelle Obama and as an assistant to Barack Obama.
In an email sent just two days after Smollett falsely claimed he was jumped by a pair of Trump-supporting bigots, Foxx reached out to Tchen to let her know that she had contacted Johnson, as the Obama alumnus had previously requested.
“Spoke to Superintendent Johnson. I convinced him to reach out to FBI to ask that they take over the investigation,” Foxx wrote.
“OMG this would be a huge victory,” Tchen wrote in response to a text message from Foxx containing the same information as was included in the email.
“I make no guarantees,” Foxx responded, “but I’m trying.”
The FBI never took control of the investigation, which resulted in Smollett’s being charged with disorderly conduct, but Fraternal Order of Police president Kevin Graham believes Foxx should be investigated for trying to interfere in the investigation.
“Private attorneys are not allowed to interfere with ongoing police investigations, particularly at the request of private individuals associated with subjects being investigated by the police,” Graham wrote in a letter sent Friday to John R. Lausch, the U.S. attorney in Chicago, obtained by CWBChicago.
Empire actor and hate crime hoaxer, Jussie Smollett told Good Morning America host Robin Roberts, “I am not weak,” during a tearful interview where he pretended to recall a hate crime against him, that as it turns out, looks like it was also orchestrated by him.
"There's a level of pride there." @JussieSmollett says he waited to call police because as a gay man, he did not want to be seen as "weak." https://t.co/b5efiP0JCG pic.twitter.com/zosV9Ni78H

You are not weak. You are brave. One of the bravest I know. Speaking your truth, a person living at the intersection of multiple identities, unapologetically, takes courage. I love you

Hate crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett’s sister, Jurnee, an actress in the WGN-TV series “Underground,’ told Ebony magazine, that the wound of slavery have not been healed, “we see that the wounds that we all as a nation inflicted upon our brothers and sisters during slavery have not been healed,” Smollett-Bell said, reflecting on the current political climate. “There’s still a really divisive residue in our nation that’s called racism and prejudice and oppression and sexism.”
She said that although she doesn’t want to give Trump “the credit of stirring us up,” his rise is a “call to action,” particularly for those who might have gotten “a little relaxed” during former President Barack Obama’s tenure.
“Honestly, I have so much hope for all of us,” said Smollett-Bell, who served as a surrogate for Obama’s 2008 and 2012 campaigns. “We are being called to action, and I really see a movement of love, a movement of positivity really gaining so much momentum. If anything, that’s what I want to focus my energy on.”
Here’s Jurnee Smollett Bell’s Instagram post where she confirms that she worked for Barack Obama’s campaign. Much of her Instagram account is dedicated to hating Donald Trump and for promoting Black power and transgenders.
Hate hoaxer Jussie Smollett was no stranger to the Obama’s either. This selfie was taken on his 2016 visit to the White House.

Smollett can be seen laughing with the first lady during another White House visit here.
Smollett also found himself on stage with Michelle Obama in March 2016, as the first lady shook her bootie for the crowd, while Smollett sang on stage to promote black kids going to college.
Smollett was also asked to sing for the Obama’s on the eve the Obama’s celebrated themselves, with a final extravagant gala, that included black guests and black entertainers.

It’s curious how the former first family, who appears to have close ties with the Smollett family, has remained silent on the “attempted lynching” and “hate crime” committed against their good friend Jussie Smollett. The Obama’s silence on the “hate crime” committed against their friend is especially curious, given that the “attack” by “white MAGA hat” wearing men took place in their hometown of Chicago.
Black conservative personality Adrian Norman asked why Jussie Smollett, who is intimately tied to the Obama’s, 2020 Democrat presidential candidates, Senator Corey Booker, and Kamala Harris, just happened to push a very public fake lynching case, while at the same time, Booker and Harris were trying to push an “ant-lynching” bill through Congress. Norman found their timing to be incredible, given that there hasn’t been an actual lynching in roughly 40 years in America.
Here’s Jussie talking about singing at the very last concert at the White House.
What do you think? Do you find it odd that the Obama’s, who are usually on the forefront of the race war in America, remained silent for so long on the Smollett attack in their hometown of Chicago? Did they know something that no one else knew? We’d love to know what you think in the comment section below.
