Former Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway and her husband, George, officially filed for divorce after being married for 22 years.

Kellyanne and George’s marriage became increasingly tense after the two became de-facto political rivals.

While Kellyanne was advising President Trump in the White House, George co-founded the Lincoln Project, an organization devoted to attacking President Trump and Trump-aligned politicians and candidates.

Kellyanne discussed their tense marriage in her 2022 book, ‘Here’s the Deal”.

She said that she perceived George’s work for the Lincoln Project to be a betrayal of their marriage, even analogizing it to cheating.

President Trump publicly congratulated Kellyanne Conway on Truth Social after news broke of the divorce, calling George a ‘wacko’ and ‘unattractive loser’ and saying that she will ‘finally be free to live the life that she deserves’.

Trump has been a frequent critic of George and the Lincoln Project, at one time calling George a ‘stone cold loser’ and ‘husband from hell’.

Kellyanne and George reportedly have a tense relationship with their daughter Claudia, who has frequently criticized Kellaynne on social media for her political views and work for President Trump.

Kellyanne Conway and her husband George have filed for divorced after 22 years of marriage after admitting her husband’s criticism of Donald Trump was a betrayal.

The couple known for being political opposites has gone their separate ways after years of speculation if the pair even liked each other, according to Page Six. George has been one of Donald Trump’s biggest critics, and publicly mocked the president on Twitter while he employed his wife.

Kellyanne and George wed in 2001 and had four children – Claudia, Vanessa, Charlotte, and George – together.

The pair have both hired divorced lawyers and they are working to divide their assets, Page Six reported.

Her former boss celebrated her divorce on Truth Social, writing: ‘Congratulations to Kellyanne Conway on her DIVORCE from her wacko husband, Mr. Kellyanne Conway.

‘Free at last, she has finally gotten rid of the disgusting albatross around her neck. She is a great person, and will now be free to lead the kind of life that she deserves…and it will be a great life without the extremely unattractive loser by her side!’
