Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar has dropped out of the race for president to throw her support behind Joe Biden.
The Washington Post is reporting that she will join Biden at tonight’s rally in Dallas, TX.
Klobuchar tried to appeal to the moderate Democrats but never gained momentum during her campaign. News that she treated her staff poorly and the visual that she ate a salad with a comb were just two of many negative strikes against her.
Klobuchar is the second candidate to drop out of the 2020 presidential race in less than 24 hours. Pete Buttigieg dropped out of the race yesterday but hasn’t endorsed a candidate yet. The establishment Democrats are desperately trying to get candidates to coalesce around Biden to challenge Bernie Sanders for the nomination. The problem is that Klobuchar has no delegates to give Biden. She also had just a few percentage points in the polls.
Klobuchar’s move leaves Elizabeth Warren as the only female Senator left in the race for president,
OUR PREVIOUS REPORT ON BUTTIGIEG DROPPING OUT:
As Super Tuesday looms large for Joe Biden, suddenly, Obama has jumped in to pressure former presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg to endorse Biden before Super Tuesday. Political analysts have predicted that Buttigieg will endorse Biden:
CNN reported that Mayor Pete is “mulling an endorsement” of Biden right before Super Tuesday.
Who didn’t see this coming?
President Trump had this figured out when the news broke of Buttigieg dropping out last night:
Mayor Pete is out of the race for president raising questions about whether he got out of the race to help Joe Biden, who needs all the help he can get. The Democrats are doing everything they can to ditch Bernie Sanders…AGAIN.
President Trump tweeted, calling out the move by the Dems: “Pete Buttigieg is OUT. All of his SuperTuesday votes will go to Sleepy Joe Biden. Great timing. This is the REAL beginning of the Dems taking Bernie out of play – NO NOMINATION, AGAIN!”
It’s interesting that social media is on fire with the narrative that Buttigieg dropping out is to help Biden ahead of Super Tuesday. Was there a backroom deal to get Pete to drop out? He was on Meet the Press this morning (see video below), where he dropped a hint and said he would do what’s best for the party.
Were I a betting man, I’d say @TheDemocrats will make #MayorPete a very wealthy man. Same way they bought off #Bernie to play nice with Hillary in 2016. This is to help #Biden ahead of Tuesday. Soon, #MayorPete will be living on Martha’s Vineyard near the Obamas, no doubt.

Buttigieg is being praised for suspending his campaign by Dem operatives who even claim Buttigieg may have a place in Biden’s administration. Talk about jumping the gun!
Pete Buttigieg is a real talent & has a bright future in our nation.
I have no doubt that his next step will be part of a @JoeBiden Administration in some capacity.
I respectfully ask his supporters to join us in stopping @BernieSanders and beat @realDonaldTrump.
Love this pic of Biden and #MayorPete. Just a reminder of what a unifier Biden is in the Democratic Party. We need this. We need someone who can bring us together, not divide us. And I know that Pete has a bright future. https://t.co/vMb891Km4D

This is a great depiction of Biden literally swallowing up Mayor Pete:
Now that Buttigieg has dropped out, calls for Amy Klobuchar to drop out are growing louder.
The truth is that Pete had about 1% of the vote and lost any momentum he may have had when the video of his Obama imitation came out last week:
#MayorPete is an EMPTY SUIT. He plagiarizes OBAMA ….And the #MSM says nothing. In reality – #Buttigieg is symbolic of the entire #Dem party – they’re all a bunch of empty suits with no identity. They’re ALLOWING #ComradeBernie to steal any soul they had. #TrishRegan pic.twitter.com/4D37M5H0pr

The definition of inauthentic!
Watch the video below where Buttigieg talks about his future in the race that will ultimately be for the “greater good”…
