Running away from my life from the Gilroy garlic festival, mind the language because I was in shock! I am so thankful that I’m alive, I saw gunfire smoke and even got struck in the forehead by a ricochet from shrapnel. I was near where the gunman was firing!

Two law enforcement sources tell CBS News one suspect, a white male, is dead. There was no word on who killed him or whether there were any other suspects at large.

According to this eye-witness, when people heard the “rapid-fire” of gunshots, they began to run, including parents who were looking for their kids.

CBS News spoke with a survivor who explained to them how a bullet passed directly by him. He said when the gunfire started, he thought the popping sounds were part of the opening act for the concert.

This eye-witness describes how people were panicking and hopping into vehicles to get out of the area where the active shooter was located. He also identified the shooter through a female friend who claimed to have seen him, as a man wearing fatigues and a had a “machine gun.”  No reports have been released about the weapon or weapons that were used in the attack. The “machine gun” statement has not been verified by law enforcement.

Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) wasted no time using the crisis to push the gun-control narrative she hopes will give her a shot at being the Democratic presidential nominee.

Little Miss Opinion destroyed her argument with this one tweet. These horrific mass shootings are not about guns, they’re about addressing a huge mental health problem we have in America.
