The arrest video of Minneapolis resident George Floyd was released, showing an officer with a knee on his neck. Floyd died after the arrest, causing protests and now looting in the Third Precinct of the city of Minneapolis. Even though there has been no cause of death released, the community is enraged. The riots have been going on for a few days, but today the protests turned violent, and looting began.
A group of people looted a local Target. Karen Scullin of FOX9 shot video of the looting where a Target was destroyed. She said that there were no police officers to stop the looting.
Did these protesters just lose support for using the tragic death of George Floyd to loot and destroy their city?
