After multiple false reports by the Trump-hating media and their allies in the Democrat Party, the massive Russian collusion fairytale collapsed on itself. Strangely, none of the media sources who knowingly or unknowingly pushed the fake collusion narrative about a sitting President were held accountable for their actions.

MSNBC was a significant contributor to the phony Trump-Russian collusion story.

Yesterday, the media was giddy with excitement after Deutsche Bank admitted in court that they do have President Trump’s tax returns.

Number one MSNBC Trump hater, Lawrence O’Donnell appeared on MSNBC’s number two  Trump hater, Rachel Maddow’s show to make an unfounded bombshell announcement about President Trump’s Deutsche bank records.

“I may have some information, in this next hour, which would add a great deal to their understanding of that, if true, and I’ll be discussing it here,” O’Donnell said. “I stress ‘if true,’ because this is a single source who has told me that Deutsche Bank obtained tax returns… this single source close to Deutsche Bank has told me that Donald Trump’s loan documents there show that he has co-signers. That’s how he was able to obtain those loans and that the co-signers are Russian oligarchs.”

The anti-Trump Business Insider called O’Donnell’s report a “rumor.”

After MSNBC’s Michael Del Moro tweeted about Deutsche Bank’s refusal to corroborated O’Donnell’s unfounded claim, CNN’s Oliver Darcy asks MSNBC’s  why MSNBC would run the rumor on “prime time?”

It wasn’t long before #RussianCosigners was trending on Twitter, and Trump haters were tweeting about O’Donnell’s “rumor,” as though it was a confirmed fact.

David Hoffman, with over 70K followers, tweeted, “This explains his loyalty to Russia/Putin” and leaves the US in a “very dangerous position” with a “compromised president.”

Now, MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell is backtracking, saying he made an “error in judgment” when he breathlessly reported about an unnamed single source, who never saw Trump’s tax returns, but allegedly told O’Donnell that Russian oligarchs co-signed Deutsche Bank loans for Trump. O’Donnell admitted that his story “didn’t go through our rigorous verification and standards process.”

Hmmm…Most of us were unaware that such standards existed at the “Gotcha Trump” cable news network.

The MSNBC hack let his hatred for Trump get the best of him, as the disgraced host of the ratings-challenged “news” network is admits, “I shouldn’t have reported it and I was wrong to discuss it on the air.”

O’Donnell, who’s desperate for ratings, told his small group of viewers that he’d discuss the issue on his show tonight, hoping to make the most of his humiliating situation to draw viewers to his show.

Ironically, O’Donnell chose Maddow’s show to make his announcement about Trump’s tax returns. In 2017, Maddow made a humiliating gaffe when she promised to deliver Trump’s tax returns on her show.

Maddow was humiliated when she proved that Donald J. Trump paid a lot of taxes as a successful businessman, as she broke down for her small audience that Trump’s 2005 tax records revealed that he reported $150 million in income and paid $38 million in taxes.

As the cream rises to the top, unhinged shows that peddle in anger and fake news, like Rachel Maddow’s MSNBC show, continue to sink to the bottom in the ratings. The Daily Caller is reporting that Maddow’s show just took another “NOSE DIVE” in the ratings.

Fox News reports – White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham blasted liberal MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell on Wednesday for running with a singled-sourced, unverified report that President Trump had loans co-signed by Russian oligarchs.

“This is one of the reasons that a majority of Americans have lost trust in the media. Instead of applying ethics and standards to their reporting, journalists and left-wing outlets have weaponized the media, using it to attack and harass people with little to no regard for the truth,” Grisham told Fox News.

Cornell Law School professor and media critic William A. Jacobson slammed MSNBC for the reckless report.

“Even if tempered with an ‘if true’ caution, there still needs to be a solid basis for believing it is true. Otherwise, pure speculation and wishful thinking takes the place of news reporting,” Jacobson told Fox News.

Will the far-left journalists with an agenda to destroy our president ever be held accountable for journalistic malpractice? Will Facebook suppress MSNBC’s content on its platform over their repeated efforts to push fake news? What do you think? Should journalists who lie and deceive to push their anti-Trump narrative be held accountable for their actions? Share your thoughts with us in the comment section below.
