According to the DOJ, a Basking Ridge, New Jersey man has been arrested on terror charges.

Jonathan Xie allegedly sought to send money to support Hamas. According to the U.S. attorney’s office, Xie sent $100 in December to a person he thought was affiliated with a faction of Hamas.

In an online video, Xie allegedly displayed a handgun and said he wanted to “shoot the pro-Israel demonstrators” at a march. The 20-year-old from New Jersey expressed his anti-Israel ideology and documented it on Instagram. He also allegedly made threats against pro-Israel groups in the U.S.

He tried to join the U.S. military to get training and communicated with terrorists online.

Xie even sought to bomb the Israeli consulate and Trump Tower.

According to  1010 WINS, Xie is charged with attempting to provide material support to a designated terrorist organization, making false statements and transmitting a threat in interstate commerce.

Terrorist suspect Jonathan Xie appeared before a federal judge in Newark today. The 20-year-old was remanded as his mother (pictured) and father fought back tears. Charged with sending money to Hamas and threatening to kill Jews and bomb Trump Tower.

Xie is being held without bail.
